New Scientist : Soon -every summer will be too hot for sea corals
[link to www.newscientist.com] It happens when the sea temperature reaches roughly a degree warmer than the long-term summer maximum and stays there for four to six weeks. Corals can survive it, but if the event goes on longer, or the temperature climbs higher still, you get mass mortality. Over the last 12 months seas have come very close to that threshold. We're on the brink of a major, worldwide bleaching event, says the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Coral Reef Watch programme.

People like you see the term of "Global Warming" only as a increase
of Temperature but it is much more, please Research what it really means!

"Global Warming" is real and we, as the Earthlings,
have a huge task in it!

HEY I will admit to MAYBE having some libtard tendencies when I first came here in 2011, BUT THIS PLACE CHANGED ME, at the same time my whole life I have lived less than an hour from the Ocean so it's part of my person to have these concerns. So if I post on Starfish turning to mush threads am I also a shill? PS I only ran into this article because it was on the SAME PAGE AS ANOTHER ARTICLE SOMEONE LINKED ON HERE so because of all the shit happening in the Pacific I thought it was relevant. Fukushima and all that.
