Man Set To Be First To Undergo The World's First Full HEAD Transplant
This one appears to be for real this time.

However, I seriously doubt it will work. Even if they can attach the head, I doubt the patient will live very long afterwards.

Is the head the guy?

Or is the body the guy?

Who is getting transplanted?

• Valery Spiridonov says he is ready to put his trust in Dr Sergio Canavero

• 30-year-old computer scientist was born with Werdnig-Hoffman disease

• Genetic muscle-wasting disorder has left him seriously disabled since birth

• New body of city of Vladimir native would be taken from braindead donor

•But 2016 target for operation is 'pure fantasy', say Dr Canavero's critics

But…what if the body is married and the head is married? Who dances with which wife after the operation if he lives (or the day someone finally does live)?

" Only in Russia"
I'd suggest replacing glue with etanol and keeping head entertained while sewing...

You would have to be able to functionally fuse the spines and get the cerebral fluid where it is supposed to be. You would have to splice the nerves and adjunct the blood vessels to the head. It's so impossible as to be laughable. How would you keep the head alive once you cut it off the body? It's ridiculous. If they could keep a head alive once it's cut off the body, that could end up being a horror show.

Not kosher.
