Re: America -Then vs Now. It’s Almost Unbelievable
Thank "god" man has evolved and became more intelligent. Intelligent enough to cast off the chains of religion. Our Constitution is secular and the product of the Enlightenment; not holy script (which retards and debilitates the mind).
 Quoting: harry 17531086

You know, I believed the same for a long time, but (as other posters have correctly said) all you have to do is look around to see that humanity has actually DEvolved, not Evolved, and it's all by design; TPTB have worked very hard to effect this ideological change. Humanity has been stripped of its moral center and cast adrift on the stormy sea of nihilism and narcissism.

Beware the chains of TPTB brainwashing. They are far more powerful and far more debilitating than the chains of religion ever were.

SOLUTION....Bring the bastards who did 911 to justice and kick out the banksters, the answers are not in some ancient fictional novel that was written by MEN who had no idea what bacteria or physics were, and whose goal it was to enslave and control the masses, the answers lie within your selves, so get off your fat whinging asses and do something about it!

Good read:

Newsweek magazine, on December 27, 1982, in an article entitled, How the Bible Made America, made this revealing
statement, “historians are discovering that the Bible, perhaps even more than the Constitution, is our Founding
document.”

To undersno different tand the core values of a nation, one must simply look to the beliefs set forth during its conception, and, in the
case of America, during the transitional years of the American Revolution. Judge for yourself how far we have drifted from
the original intent of early Americans. Consider the following:

Then: If a proposed article for the Constitution was not supported by, or rooted in the Bible, it was not considered. In their
early writings, many of the Founding Fathers quoted or referenced the Bible nearly four times more than any other source.

Now: The Bible is mocked, ridiculed, and discarded.

Then: First introduced in 1766, William Blackstone’s Commentaries on the Laws, served as the legal reference for the
Founders, as well as for many early American lawyers. Blackstone’s commentaries were deeply rooted in biblical principles.
It’s been said that Blackstone was the first to use the phrase, “the laws of nature and of nature’s God.”

Now: “It is unconstitutional for students to see the Ten Commandments since they might read, meditate upon, respect, or
obey them.” Stone v. Graham, 449 U.S. 39 (1980).

Everything ever written is just the inventions, bipolar dreams and aspirations of people wanting to be gods and devils...went really are just corrupt, self obsessed baboons and control freaks.

The first bible was commisioned by Constantine to create and reinforce hierarchical control and his empire aspirations..afte that is just the usual corrupt ponzi divide and rule competitions and wars that enable minorities to subjugate and exploit and turn people into subordinate slaves and minions or rivals ....which was no different to moronic divided hierarchical humanity before but it was to narrowed down the just a few options god and a devil.and atheists or others..all a crock of shite... but means people have been conned for millenia to blindly bow down to individuals and minorities created bullshit... of deluded criminals, sociopaths and fools no better or worse than themselves...but often worse..because they dont want equality in any shape or form.

Of course this is true, and I've read some of Blackstone. It was always on the family bookshelf.

When people denied the religious foundations of our nation and our laws, I presumed they were up to mischief, being criminal liars, or they were quacking morons.

I was there then... one thing the photos don't show was the smog. Skies were brown most summer days. You'd hang the laundry out to dry and when you brought it in, it smelled like gasoline.

Still, simpler and on the whole better days.

Great thread as usual KoFFee.

America was founded by a nation of Christians for the freedom not just to be followers of Jesus, but to advocate the truth of God's natural order, morality, and the redemption of sins through Jesus.

Virtually every problem we have in society today is the rejection of that founding. We desperately need to repent and return to our founding principles and open reliance on God's providence.
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

Yes. I do. (At least in regards to religion). Are the American people the dumbest on earth? Yes. Easily groomed, conditioned and brainwashed to accept the next foreign engagement/incursion.

Re: America -Then vs Now. It’s Almost Unbelievable
yep, one can clearly see how Region has undermined freedom and individual Sovereignty, by demanding that we surrender our free will, and keep god's self serving commandments instead of the Law of the Universe, (which Jesus reintroduced) and RELIGIONs and the god who created them, IGNORE, ... which is to simply "DO unto others as we would have them do unto us"

now that a critical mass of us have taken back our Free Will, god is full of wrath and once again threatening to kill anyone who refuses to serve him or surrender their Free Will, which is given to each of us by our CREATOR because they FEAR god, more than they love each other, or our Creator, who provides for our every need, via Earth/Nature.

Becoming Independent is what any loving father hopes his children will achieve ...becoming dependent is the ultimate failure of a self aware individual or Society ...

IMO allowing ourselves to be brainwashed by fear and enslaved by the self proclaimed god of this world using advanced technology that IGNORES the Law of the Universe is not what our Creator intended for us when he gave us Free Will. And we can see its results in this nation, founded upon our willful ignorance of Christ's reminder of this law and his example of freeing himself from Religions has enslaved us.

genuine "Christians" are not dependent upon the self proclaimed god of this world, for anything we were not created to be his slaves.

t is the clear trumpet of objective and scholarly investigations such as the two cited above that easily drown out the din of Secularist noise. No other country in history has placed its foundation so squarely on the bedrock of the whole Bible. As the truth of America’s Christian heritage becomes clear, so too will the Secularist mantra of “separation of church and state” be seen for the subversive lie that it is. The next chapter will confront that lie head on with more “inconvenient” truth.

No.

Obama is the product of multiculturalism, secularism and political correctness .
 Quoting: Lex Talionis

No, I think Obama is the product of an agenda that is much more well thought out than just a confluence of influences.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11454231

The agenda and it's perpetrators are all products of multiculturalism, secularism, political correctness and all of their subsets.

Thus Obama is also.

Perhaps I oversimplified but no matter how you slice it the mentality and psyche of the "creators" of Obama are all spawns of the mental illness commonly referred to as liberalism, leftist, collectivism, etc., all of which passionately embrace secularism, political correctness and multiculturalism.

Re: America -Then vs Now. It’s Almost Unbelievable
Thank you all for your participation on this thread.

I had to leave for the day and just returned home.

In the morning, after my devotions, if I have time, I look at Bible Prophecy News.

That article was brief, to the point and full of truth.

I hurriedly found other articles that were relevant to the topic.

Even though, as a Christian, my hope lies in the Kingdom to come, America is my home, or I guess you can say my home
away from home, for the time being.

I am more concerned for what the younger generation faces in this ever-increasing secular society which continues to
slide into indifference and immorality.

We need a revival in this country, but I don't know if it's possible that could happen.

It's usually when things are at their darkest when people search for light, but it appears these days many prefer the
dark, hearts are hardened, calloused and kept in bondage, blinded by this world's prince of darkness.

Well, I'm going to end with this video which reminds me of the numerous times I said the Pledge of Allegiance in
public school, and prayed and read the Bible even, without being made to feel like I was doing something wrong:

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

Why fight about God???

If you believe in God, as I do,then live your life the way you believe you should. But our country is based on freedom. So why fight with those that believe different than you?? Why can't people just let people believe what they want and accept them for who and what they are? why do Christians feel like they have to force religion on people and why do atheists believe they have to spend their lives trying to prove God doesn't exist?

Why not just get along and let each person live as they want and believe as they want.

I just don't understand all the stupid fighting

Hello Koffee,

How are you and your son getting along?

I smiled when I saw your post, and I wondered if you were still around the site as of late.

good to know that you are...

The world is a strange bedfellow anymore. I recently saw that a power outage would not allow a cashier to open the drawer so no possible way to make change??

There is this thing called pen and paper you could use. Have you heard of it I asked her?

Cashier: "Well yeah but that won't help."

I handed her 40.19 for a 38.19 purchase, and she just stared at me.

I spent a few minutes explaining what I had done and the knowledge washed over her face like a new born baby.

They are being dumbed down at the core level. Knowledge is being kept from this generation of youngsters. They are scary dumb...

Pray for them to look up once in awhile; they may eventually get it.
