They would wash the remains in a carved stone bowl with water lime. Probably quite like the hollowed out round features in your pics. I also believe that the ancient people from that area set there dead's bones out to display on shelf carved into the side of cliffs. I think this might be a mortuary/cemetery. I haven't the time to research this right now and have only based my deductions on something I remember from a trip to Mexico years ago. |

Still it's an interesting site and maybe it wasn't made by Inca but hard to prove either way. |
