I feel a lot smarter already.

Does your toothpaste have carrageenan in it? Some toothpastes do and you'll want to avoid that too. So many crap ingredients to watch out for these days.

Sounds weird, but try oil pulling.
 Quoting: Spankee

Sounds even weirder, but try drinking your own purified urine to remove heavy metals from your body:

After you purify urine, what's left?
I sign any red karma I give, because if it's important enough to give, then it's important enough to know who gave it to you. :Skullspud:

Its basically pharmaceutical water, the same quality as used in surgery at like $100/gallon. The molecules become reversed so the metals can't stick to the water. The more of your own pee you purify and drink, the cleaner it gets.

I'll have to try that. I've quit using toilet paper also, going on a month now and it feels great to be free from the roll.

this intrigues me what do you use instead? Or do you not use anything? If nothing what do you do when you sit or something like that?!

That is so smart. Did you know they are thinking of making the rolls smaller to make more money?

You have a nice bidet?
 Quoting: WindyMind

Yes they are already doing that.

No, I just wipe and wash.chuckle

Start with less, and work up.

I do it while I'm showering and getting ready...when I don't have to talk to hubby and kids.
 Quoting: Spankee

And what difference did you notice? whiter, healthy gums?
 Quoting: WindyMind

Much healthier gums, a little whiter, and less pain in sensitive areas.

And just feels cleaner overall...

 Quoting: Spankee

It just seems kind of gross. But maybe it is worth a try.
 Quoting: WindyMind

I do this periodically, but I use clear sesame oil. Better taste. I do it for about 10mins......when the oil has turned like milk then you can spit it out. If you try it, be sure to pull the oil through your teeth & swish around. Keep it moving during the 10 mins. Spit into the toilet, as it will be loaded with bacteria & toxins. Also do it as soon as you get up, & before brushing or eating or drinking. It is a old Vedic practice & is very good for the gums & teeth.

It is all the way in the other room right now. Maybe soon my memory will be better and I will remember the name. I bought it based on price. It is not the most expensive one, that I remember.

Do a cleanse targeted at heavy metals, it might help.

I use Tom's. I never really noticed any difference brushing with/without fluoride. I just feel better about it mentally. :)

if your toothpaste has GLYCERIN in it, it keeps your teeth from re-mineralizing properly

just brush with a tiny pinch of baking soda and NO toothpaste

toothpaste is a total sham

Re: I have been brushing with non fluoride toothpaste for 2 weeks now
Has anyone tried the Theodent theobromine (chocolate) toothpaste ? It's kind of expensive ($12/tube), so I was looking for someone who has tried it before to give a review before I shell out the extra cash on it.

[link to theodent.myshopify.com]

Their 'clinical strength' version is $99/tube. That's just outrageous....
