If you buy seeds here, its illegal to propagate them. It's a serious business :-)

OOp's maybe I better just put this envelope full of seeds back in the draw, and you guys saw nothing, Nothing I tell you.

Given the tempo of the times, anyone with an interest in gardening should get heirloom seeds, save some, plant some, share them. They can shove their statutes up their blow holes.

The Codex Alimentarius is a global food code approved several years ago--it is a plan in action. It bans/severely restricts seed-saving, home food production and the use of medicinal herbs. Save your seeds!

Remember to save them every season as fresh seeds germinate the best. Not a great idea to just stuff seeds in a drawer for ten years

Just share them and don't tell teacher. Simple!

Actually quite a few seeds require over wintering before they give good germination ratio.

Most can be kept ALONG time provided you keep them dry and cool. A fridge works great to both keep and force overwinter.

Are you talking about GMO seeds, or any seeds? God forbid your seeds cross pollinate with Monsatans.

The only way to grow IMO, don't need any pest control either provided you filter the air intake.

This is an attack on Heirloom and Self pollinating seeds.

I agree totally, hybrid seeds and GMOs are toxic, if not useless... Which may point to whom is behind this move from the state agriculture departments.

If a hybrid could happen naturally, i'm ok with it. Not with a GMO though.

Hybrids do happen somewhat naturally, as they are created from human selection.

Their drawback is that their seeds are not guaranteed to have the same traits... They most often revert back to one of their strains without all of the same traits.

I have to agree with you again though... my bad for calling them toxic.

Each after it's own kind is what's important to me.

heirlooms are finicky to grow properly but they have the best taste and nutritional value.

find locals that have done research and tested which heirlooms grow best in your area

many dried foods and spice mixes
contain fertile seeds

you can share the food from your garden
which includes the seeds

As is saving rain water without a permit in some areas.
