From what you write, it seems unwise to be flirting with a war with Russia. Who benefits? From my point of view, this is all calculated war mongering, when it would be easy enough to trade with Russia for mutual benefit, instead of mutual destruction.

Germany already see this, having been devastated twice in useless wars in less than a hundred years. Who benefited from these wars? Germany is going to turn toward the BRICs.
