You can't be that stupid. Why not catch up? Russia is now and has been for some years a Christian nation. In fact it is the only nation in the world where Christianity is the official state religion.
The hallmark of a communist/bolshevik government is the first thing it takes out when it comes to power is the Christian churches and clergy.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8480936 You made that up or what? Have you ever heard about the Vatican state? Im pretty sure they're christian. Or keeping on the whole denmark subject - Try reading the danish constitution, it actually says that lutheran evangelism aka christianity, is the state religion.
Then your second statement - no christianity back the ussr?? - try researching some more on that subject and i think you will be surprised.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63882384 Lol. Yeah. I guess you got me. The Vatican is technically a country. As far as the Danish constitution, if I had to guess, the average Dane would call Christianity a sentiment of the past and prefer to define modern Denmark as a secular democracy.
In contrast, Modern Russia, after 70 years of communist rule, purposefully made Russia a Christian country, proclaiming Christian values and Russia's culture, Orthodox Christian. Hardly a relic of the past, but a clear statement of purpose and intent.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8480936 Both yes and no, Denmark is a secular democracy. Most people never go to chuch except for weddings and that kinds.
But we do have a state church, that is paid for and legislated by the state - so the church is democratic, in a way - the government is elected, but the church minister is hired, not elected, by the government.
The constitution also states that danish people can choose any religion they like (but lutheranism is paid for by the taxes, you can chose not to pay church tax though), except for the royal family, they have to follow the state religion.
Its only couple of years ago that the "closing-law" was abolished, a law forbidding shops to be open on sundays and at night, most people had actually forgotten that it was an old christian law.
In schools they teach religion as a subject, but it is still called christianity and not religion, and for some reason the politicians won't change the name.
So this was only a few examples of christian values in danish culture, i could name many others.
I think maybe the danish way of christianity is different from the russian way, (to be honest i don't know much about religion in russia)it is very different from bible belt christianity, that much i know.
