My understanding is that before they got famous, many of them were actual active gang members.

Chris Brown is a Blood
Drake and Lil Wayne is are connected heavily with Jazz Prince who is a very scary dude.

Dr dre, Suge Knight, Snoop Dogg etc are affiliated with the crips I think.


Just because they get famous doesn't mean they stop gang banging, once you are in, you are in for life unless you get blessed/blood out.

I may be wrong about this, just my thoughts.
