Why do so many rich black rappers still get arrested?

Racial profiling. It's a well known fact the cops ignore crimes committed by whites but only care about crimes committed by blacks.

If you are white you can rob a bank and have no fear of being arrested.

That's not true though because there are many white celebrities that also get arrested and charged with things, but with the rappers it's on a whole different scale. If you look at almost every pertinent rapper and even some of the supposed more moderate 'back pack' rappers they all have a criminal record, and a lot of them carried on getting charged with things like guns and weapons possession after becoming wealthy and moving out of the ghetto.

The white rock stars often leave that stuff in their past, thus giving the cops no reason to target them, while the rappers continue to get involved in crime and felonies way into their 40s and even 50s.

If you look at nearly all the well known black rappers and a lot of the black sports stars they are forever getting arrested for gun possession, assault, murder, manslaughter, shootings, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Now these rappers have been successful and wealthy for years and they haven't lived in the ghetto for years and years yet they still get arrested all the time for something or another. Someone like Snoop Dogg for example is a millionaire and yet the guy is still hauled in for things like drugs, weapons etc etc, and a number of rappers are in jail now for murder and for guns, while others have served long sentences AFTER becoming successful.

You don't see the rock and metal stars getting arrested and jailed for serious crimes that often. They may get addicted to drugs or something, but the rappers are ALWAYS getting in trouble over and over.

Again, they haven't been in the ghetto for over 20 years some of these guys, why can't they stay out of trouble when they have a life of luxury?

My understanding is that before they got famous, many of them were actual active gang members.

Dr dre, Suge Knight, Snoop Dogg etc are affiliated with the crips I think.


Just because they get famous doesn't mean they stop gang banging, once you are in, you are in for life unless you get blessed/blood out.

But some of these rappers are in their 40s and even 50s and yet they are STILL getting arrested for guns or some shooting,dog fighting and even weed. You'd have thought they'd have matured mentally by now surely?

Like a lot of the big rock stars were hell raisers or whatever but that was when they were in their late teens and 20s. Even old rappers and basketball players are still being jailed and arrested over and over.

If you have a millions and aren't in the ghetto anymore, what's the excuse for still getting involved in such nonsense?
