Putin also expanded on a previous admission that the well-armed forces in unmarked uniforms who took control of Ukrainian military facilities in Crimea were Russian soldiers.

Why is AP reporting that "Putin said" anything today like he hasn't been missing for over a week with all manner of questions about it?

I get that the state TV could just be airing a pre-made documentary, but why is AP reporting it like it's just another day, like there hasn't been any question about where the guy has been?

Do you guys understand the threat the BRICSA nations pose to our owners (the banksters)? When Germany ousted the banksters (twice) we had 2 world wars. Their power rests solely on our belief that their debt based currency is the be all, end all and that usury and income tax is normal ethical policy. Once we realise en mass that it's a scam their game is up. Hence they must pull out all stops to deny the BRICSA alliance.

No, I get that. What doesn't make sense is that Drudge put it up like Putin hasn't been completely missing for over a week amid all kinds of speculation about what has happened to him.

There were stories about the possibility of Russia moving nukes to Crimea last week. Why report on this pre-recorded documentary today like Putin said this today?

I too wondered why they're airing an old story.

Maybe he's been dead longer than we think??

That's BIG. That may mean someone got within spitting distance of Putin. Either that or he was killed off duty. Top body guards of world leaders are never more than a few steps away from their charge.

Most of the media is little more than Millennials looking at stories from other sources on their phones. Some Millennial who works for AP finally caught up with his tweet feed after a weekend of beard grooming, binge watching Kimmy Schmidt and creating killer hand-crafted super foods on a makeshift smoker and decided to retweet it under his AP handle.

That really is how stories are circulated these days. It creates a strange sort of second and third wave of lag.

I have a really bad feeling about this.

Yes, this doesn't make sense. It would be normal to speculate (and if there were any real journalists left with "sources" they'd be investigating). The fact that everyone is silent and are just half-heartedly recycling internet rumours makes me think they've been told to play it down.

Maybe a coup (as it looks like) was backed by the usual suspects so they are distancing themselves to see how it plays out. The fact that they are acting as if there is nothing amiss is suspicious in itself.

I hope Putins bodyguard did his job and proted him before he was killed. If Putin got away and is rallying his loyalists he could prevail (hope he isn't regrouping in that monastary that's on fire!). If he was killed along with his bodyguard, or 'detained' it doesn't look like a clean coup as it's taking too long so clearly there is opposition as the factions fight for power.

Gawd, I hope he appears on Monday.
