Putting this up two days later like it's just another mundane day of normal news is really strange. I saw the headline, too. Probably waiting to get the story straight. So he needed to draw back to only his most trusted. Then weed out the infiltrators. I can see something like this considering the global political climate. That and the opposition leader was also successfully assassinated in Moscow. Supposing Russia is wanting to ensure he is alive publicly but will not over concerns of his safety, first. Plausible. With Putin's personality and larger than life image to protect, then why wouldn't that be wall to wall state TV news? "All powerful Putin triumphs again!" or some such propaganda? I agree, being he is not showing his presence, there could be a reason of security. Maybe they can not trust the people he would need to encounter to do so. Like steering a crowd towards another bomb or gunner. Lead him to where he would declare his health and whack....should the first attempt fail. A hit like this would have many contingency plans, as terrible as it seems. |
