Here is another mental question to ponder over.


Gravity bends light. Light thus encounters a form of resistance.

But this resistance is not linear to the vector of the light beam. It is perpendicular to it. This is important to remember as I explain further.

Light does not appear to slow down after being bent by a source of gravity (planets, stars, etc).

So the energy light releases to gravity while being bent can not be taken from the kinetic motion of light.

Though, there are perpendicular attributes to light, the electromagnetic fields. One field is electronic, the other magnetic. These are perpendicular to each other, both aiming down the vector of lights path.


Since energy is given up perpendicular to the path of light, it is giving up frequency. As the wave form is the perpendicular force in the light wave.

The particle is the force parallel to the light beams path.



So, light may drop in frequency as it passes a source of gravity. This is the only way to give up energy perpendicular to light.

RED SHIFT.


Light that is further from Earth seems to under go a red shift.

Scientists thought this was from the light's source speeding away from us.

I do not believe such a theory.


The galaxies are not equally racing away from Earth. This is not likely as Earth being the center of escaping. The center of the "bubble expansion".



Instead, we are seeing light drop in frequency from interacting with gravity. Not just skirting by a planet, as gravity is present everywhere. In deep space, there is still gravity from distant objects. Light is still resisting this field. Though VERY VERY slightly. So slight we can not even measure it with out millions of miles of sensors.

After traveling millions of light years distance, red shift is just energy given up to ambient gravity.
