The White Event is a paradigm shift that acts as a cosmic trigger...Ascension

In the Superflow of each universe is a space station built and maintained by the first race to become sentient. Each station maintains contact with the others, and scans their universe for a race that is about to become cosmically interesting. When it finds one that is doing so, it gives them a blessing - the White Event - and shepherds, in the shape of four glyphs that are gifted to beings who are compatible with them. With this, the species becomes aware of their power, and either expands responsibly, or devolves into anarchy. The system has stood for millions of years.

there have been previous events:

First White Event known took place in 1888, but only created a single superhuman, who later died in World War One.

Second took place on April 26, 1953 at 9:00 EST. The WE created three known superhumans, all North American. They were killed in 1959 by agents of the US government's Project Spitfire.

Third took place on Earth-148611 on July 22, 1986, at 4:22am EST. In the wake of this strange event many people began to develop paranormal powers, and some also mutated physically, in ways which seemed to defy medical science.

This three there have been described as "failed White Events"

The fourth W.E. took place on EARTH-555 on March 2, 2006 at 06.49 UTC, the effects of the White Event ware initially felt mostly on the side of the Earth that was bathed in its light. The Event is caused by the Earth passing into a new area.

The last event ocurred on Earth-616 [Current Heroes time-line] but this time the SYSTEM IS BROKEN due to the Incursions or reality collisions.

The Incursions were a phenomenon where two universes would overlap at their respective Earths for 8 hours, and then either one planet would be destroyed, or both universes. The trend of these Incursions was accelerating, and this caused a forward wave of destruction in the Superflows of the Multiverse. Across reality, the stations exploded. Realizing what they were losing, the stations were ordered to fire randomly, in the hopes that the worlds hit would be able to use their blessing wisely to stop the collapse.

At least one world was affected by this: Earth-616, where it was announced by Adam, a creature created by Ex Nihilo. He kept announcing it, as well as that "the universe was broken" in the language Builder Machine Code. It was Captain Universe who managed to decipher the code and the message Nightmask was giving, seconds before the White Event hit Earth.

Re: Adventures through the Multiverse..
Quantum twist could kill off the multiverse

A popular view of the multiverse says that our universe is just one of an ever-inflating multitude of discrete "bubble" universes. These bubbles are eternally budding off new universes even as individual universes age and die.

But a new view of quantum effects – the brainchild of Sean Carroll at the California Institute of Technology and his colleagues – challenges this picture. Carroll's insight comes from a fresh way of looking at random motions known as quantum fluctuations: the “appearance and disappearance of two (or more) virtual particles.

Quantum fields never quite maintain a constant value; their value at any point in space is always jittering around a bit. This jitter is called “quantum fluctuations”, and it is a consequence of the famous “uncertainty principle” of Heisenberg. (You can’t know a field’s value, and how it’s changing, at exactly the same time; your knowledge of at least one, and typically both, must inevitably be imperfect.)

The random jitters also seemed to have another intriguing consequence. In the split second after the big bang, the universe is thought to have gone through an explosive growth spurt known as inflation, driven by quantum particles called inflatons. These would be subject to quantum fluctuations too, and every so often an inflaton would be randomly infused with extra energy, blowing a separate bubble universe into existence. That bubble would itself go through inflation and in turn blow more bubbles, leading to the idea of the bubble multiverse. By this thinking, once inflation starts it can never really end, and new universes are always being born – so this multiverse is infinite and endless.

multiv13

The standart picture is that quantum jitters in inflation´s particles sparked the birth of separated bubble universes. This also inflate and blow more bubbles, making an infinite multiverse.

That is the prevailing view, at least until Carroll and his colleagues decided to take a second look at this theory. For them exists a disembodied consciousnesses (the observer) that affects the quantum fluctuations that finally come to life as self-aware, disembodied brains," allowing them to fulfill their crucial role of seeding the cosmic web but removing the need for an infinitely budding multiverse.

Still, his idea doesn't do away with the multiverse altogether. That's because the mathematics that make fluctuations dependent on an observer rely on the "many worlds" theory of quantum mechanics. This says that each time a quantum system is measured, the universe branches into several different versions, one for each possible outcome. Unlike a multiverse in which each discrete bubble universe starts from scratch and evolves independently, a "many worlds" multiverse is made of overlapping branches that all started with the same initial conditions. "Maybe Hitler won the second world war in a different universe, that's one outcome," says Carroll. "But the laws of physics are the same."
THE multiverse is dead, long live the multiverse.

multiv14

Now some physicists think quantum jitters were impossible until inflation ended. Only then could universes start branching off, creating an overlaping, finite multiverse.

What if Hitler Raised Superman? DC Multiversity: Mastermen answers this.

Earth-10

At his toilet, Adolf Hilter is disturbed by one of his solders who has word that a weapon that could helpGermany win the war has fallen to Earth from the stars in the Sudetenland. After finishing his business, Hitler learns from Hans von Hammer that the rocket is made of alloys not found on earth - and its pilot is merely aninfant. What's more - the child is powerful and invulnerable. Amazed, Hitler comes to the conclusion that this boy comes from the future; that he is the fabled Übermensch. He would be the man of tomorrow - and the weapon to bring them victory.

superh

Seventeen years later, that child has grown to become known as Overman, and uses his super-human abilities in the service of the Nazis, while being idolized as the Nietszchean ideal. With him at the lead, the German war-machine achieved conquest over the United States of America by April 20th, 1956. With the Germans defiling every symbol and monument of American patriotism, it was said that Uncle Sam died on that day.

"reality" seems to be more terrifying, right?

The EU was HITLER'S idea and it proves Germany WON the Second World War, claims new book

'The EU: The Truth About The Fourth Reich - How Hitler Won The Second World War' argues the single currency, the free market and even the phrase "United States of Europe" were all dreamt up by high ranking Nazis, including the Fuhrer himself.

"It is no coincidence that just about every country in the European Union is getting poorer while Germany continues to get richer and richer...We may think we won the Second World War. But we lost. It is no surprise that we are all living in the Fourth Reich...co-written by Daniel J Beddowes and Falvio Cipollini said.

"Hitler was the man who gave bones to the dreams first expressed by Charlemagne and Napoleon but the finishing touches to the EU as we know it were put in place during World War II by a man called Walther Funk, who was President of the Reichsbank and a director of the Bank for International Settlements...(BIS)

"It was Funk who predicted the coming of European economic unity. Funk was also Adolf Hitler's economics minister and his key economics advisor."

express.co.uk/news/world/470967/The-EU-was-HITLER-S-idea-and-it-proves-Germany-WON-the-Second-World-War-claims-new-book

Bank for International Settlements...? hmm

Remember Karen Hudes, the World Bank Whistleblower?

"Most people have never even heard of the Bank for International Settlements, but it is an extremely important organization. In a previous article, I described how this “central bank of the world” is literally immune to the laws of all national governments…

An immensely powerful international organization that most people have never even heard of secretly controls the money supply of the entire globe. It is called the Bank for International Settlements, and it is the central bank of central banks. It is located in Basel, Switzerland, but it also has branches in Hong Kong and Mexico City. It is essentially an unelected, unaccountable central bank of the world that has complete immunity from taxation and from national laws. Even Wikipedia admits that “it is not accountable to any single national government.“

The Bank for International Settlements was used to launder money for the Nazis during World War II, but these days the main purpose of the BIS is to guide and direct the centrally-planned global financial system. Today, 58 global central banks belong to the BIS, and it has far more power over how the U.S. economy (or any other economy for that matter) will perform over the course of the next year than any politician does. Every two months, the central bankers of the world gather in Basel for another “Global Economy Meeting”. During those meetings, decisions are made which affect every man, woman and child on the planet, and yet none of us have any say in what goes on. The Bank for International Settlements is an organization that was founded by the global elite and it operates for the benefit of the global elite, and it is intended to be one of the key cornerstones of the emerging one world economic system.

The goal is control. They want all of us enslaved to debt, they want all of our governments enslaved to debt, and they want all of our politicians addicted to the huge financial contributions that they funnel into their campaigns. Since the elite also own all of the big media companies, the mainstream media never lets us in on the secret that there is something fundamentally wrong with the way that our system works.

So What universe Hitler won the war? DC Comics universe?, Marvel Universe? Other comics universes or in this universe?

Budha asked to Subhuti: if there were as many Ganges rivers as the number of grains of sand in the Ganges, would you say that the number of grains of sand in all those Ganges rivers would be very many?"

Subhuti answered, "Very many indeed, Most Honored One. If the number of Ganges rivers were that large, how much more so would be the number of grains of sand in all those Ganges rivers."

Diamond Sutra

Infinite Universes

Scientists can't be sure what the shape of space-time is, but most likely, it's flat (as opposed to spherical or even donut-shape) and stretches out infinitely. But if space-time goes on forever, then it must start repeating at some point, because there are a finite number of ways particles can be arranged in space and time.

So if you look far enough, you would encounter another version of you - in fact, infinite versions of you. Some of these twins will be doing exactly what you're doing right now, while others will have worn a different sweater this morning, and still others will have made vastly different career and life choices.

Parallel Universes

Another idea that arises from string theory is the notion of "braneworlds" - parallel universes that hover just out of reach of our own. The idea comes from the possibility of many more dimensions to our world than the three of space and one of time that we know. In addition to our own three-dimensional "brane" of space, other three-dimensional branes may float in a higher-dimensional space. These brane universes aren't always parallel and out of reach. Sometimes, they might slam into each other, causing repeated Big Bangs that reset the universes over and over again.

Daughter Universes

Quantum mechanics describes the world in terms of probabilities, rather than definite outcomes. And the mathematics of this theory might suggest that all possible outcomes of a situation do occur - in their own separate universes. For example, if you reach a crossroads where you can go right or left, the present universe gives rise to two daughter universes: one in which you go right, and one in which you go left…the problem is choice.

Thread: Why are Americans full of Religion, Jesus and Satan???

American Jesus---Mark Millar---Dark Horse comics

comicjs

Chosen [reprinted later as American Jesus] tells the story of Jodie Christenson, a young boy who believes that he is
the Second Coming of Christ. The evidence certainly suggests this: he survives a terrible truck accident, a prophet tells him that he is the returned Christ, he suddenly has remarkable religious knowledge, and has fantastic healing powers. His healing powers are noticed by the other kids around their town of Peoria, Illinois, and eventually take the notice of parents, teachers, and other adults in the town. Jodie’s mother confesses to him that she and her husband had never had sex and that she was a perpetual virgin; she further instructs him to read the book of Revelation to learn more about himself. Framed as an autobiography in the comic, Jodie recounts a psychological analysis of himself as an adult looking back on his own childhood: knowing that he is the Second Coming, he tries to give up pornography, masturbation, and swearing—common vices of prepubescent boys—but he just cannot triumph over his flesh.

Jodie and Father Tom O’Higgins, develop a relationship Father O’Higgins counsels Jodie that the Bible should not be taken so literally; he suggests that instead the Bible should really be a “guidebook for life,” and that its words should not be taken so ultimately to suggest that Jodie—or anyone, for that matter—could be the Second Coming. Jodie responds, “I can’t believe I’m hearing this,” convinced himself of his own identity; and lies to the priest that he won’t talk about such heretical ideas anymore.

Father O’Higgins: You did not heal the blind, Jodie. A little boy with a prescription just thinks he can read a little better without his glasses. You did not heal the blind.

Jodie: Why can’t you accept the simplest explanation of what’s happening here, Father?

Father O’Higgins: Because unlike the rest of the town, I seem to be immune from mass hysteria.

Jodie: What you mean is you’re the one guy in town who doesn’t believe in God.

Father O’Higgins: What?

Jodie: Why do you think nobody even comes to your church
anymore? You say the words and you do the actions, but you could be mowing the lawn for all you care….

Father O’Higgins: You watch your mouth, son.

Jodie: When did you stop believing, Father? When that drunk old bishop made a pass at you in seminary? When the cancer took your mother? When that homeless guy stuck a knife in the back of your brother’s head?

Father O’Higgins: SHUT UP!

Jodie: Don’t you realize, even your brother’s murder is all just part of a great big plan? “My existence meant that God was as real as McDonalds and Burger King.”

The surprise ending comes in the last three pages. Jodie is taken from his parents, still a teenage boy, and is informed that he is not really the Second Coming. A woman tells him that she will take him to his father. “We’re going to meet God?” he asks. She replies: “No, silly boy...“Other one?” he asks. “Why, Satan, of course. We’re going to meet Satan.”

Re: Adventures through the Multiverse..
My first recollection of my childhood is the day I toppled down the stairs when I was three years old. I was so upset that I cried and cried for nearly an hour in spite of my parents' attempts at comforting me. Finally, I quietened down when I was given ice-cream and chocolates. Luckily, I was not hurt.

My days were happy ones before I started going to school, as I had good neighbours to play with from morning till evening. We played games outdoors, dressed as cowboys and Red Indians and rode about on our tricycles happily. There were also other games to occupy our time.

I still remember those days when I was learning to ride a bicycle. I fell and bruised myself several times but I never gave up.

I now realise what a wonderful childhood I have had and at times wish I could relive those days.

EARTH 42---- The day our childhood died. Multiversity Guidebook---Dc Comics.

The tiny inhabitants of Earth-42 knew nothing of mortality, evil or violence until the death of their Superman at the hands of Earth 45 thought monster Superdoomsday. This was just the beginning of another event that would end with the innocence of Earth 42

The League of Sivanas [mad scientists that open portals through the Multiverse with a machine like cube] seeks to slaughter the tiny inhabitants and metahumans of Earth-42. Earth 17's Batman delays the onslaught from the League of Sivana's robot soldiers so that Earth 42's Batman (little Dick Grayson) can get to Earth 17 and relative safety as his world's only surviving hero.

Tiny Batman is surprised by the degree of violence of Earth 17's Batman and discovers that The League of Sivanas uses comic books as maps to get to different places of the Multiverse.

earh42a

The comic book titled Multiverse Guide contains a detailed map of the different Earths.

earh42b

earth421

Between the pages of the guide Tiny Batman read about the adventures of Kamadi on Earth-51. Kamandi is a young hero in a post-apocalyptic world. After a great event known as "The Great Disaster", humans become a persecuted minority in a world ruled by highly evolved intelligent animals.

On Earth 51, Kamandi and his associates investigate a mysterious tomb that once contained the body of Darkseid, while being observed by the New God on New Genesis. The New Gods discuss among themselves that while they are singular entities, their differing "emanations" can live individual existences on different Earths.

As the issue ends, Earth-42's Little League are discovered to be robots—but only Earth 17 Batman is directly aware of this… sadly his childhood has ended.

Re: Adventures through the Multiverse..
Anti-universe, where anti-matter dominates over matter.

According to theory, the Big Bang should have produced matter and antimatter in equal quantities. Thus, for every quark produced in the early stages of the Big Bang, there would also have been an antiquark; for every electron, a positron (the antiparticle of the electron); etc. The apparent asymmetry of matter and antimatter in the visible universe is one of the greatest unsolved problems in physics.

The British physicist Paul Dirac first predicted the existence of antimatter in 1928. For each of his theoretical equations, there appeared to exist another associated solution, with all the properties reversed, which did not seem to physically exist in the known universe. This antimatter, then, is the “mirror image” of matter, and the antiparticles of which it is composed are the mirror images of normal particles, being the same size but having opposite electrical charge.

Dirac’s equations also predicted that, if enough energy could be concentrated, an antielectron (always accompanied by an electron in order to preserve the overall electrical charge) could in theory be produced where none had existed before!

In 1933, Carl Anderson successfully demonstrated the appearance of this hypothetical antielectron (which he called the positron), and definitively showed that matter could in fact be created in the laboratory in a controlled experiment. With the development of super-high-acceleration machines after World War II, other particles (such as protons and neutrons) and their respective antiparticles were created, and even stored in magnetic “bottles”.

However, when matter and antimatter meet, they completely annihilate each other in a brilliant flash of light produced by extremely high-energy gamma photons. This explosive annihilation mirrors the huge energy required to produce the matter-antimatter pairs in the first place.

The big bang should have created equal amounts of matter and antimatter. So why is there far more matter than antimatter in the universe?

Sandy hook happened in the Marvel Universe 6 years before

In The Civil War event [2006-2007] the U.S. government passes a Superhero Registration Act ostensibly designed to have superpowered characters act under official regulation, somewhat akin to police officers. However, those opposed to the act, led by Captain America, find themselves in conflict with those in support of the act, led by Iron Man, with Spider-Man caught in the middle. The pro-Government superheroes led by Iron Man, Dr Reed Richards and Ms Marvel increasingly become autocratic and evil, eventually leading to the murder of Captain America. The events of the series touch upon themes of liberty, moral responsibility, and civil order, with well-intentioned superhero characters finding themselves upon different sides.

The importance of the Civil War event is the realism that brings about the social connotations of live among these "heroes"...the people want the current government [Bush in those years] do something to control them, ensuring the safety of everyone.

Now this is interesting...

Civil War events are triggered when a group of teenage heroes known as the New Warriors, to gain some fame, decided to film all his fights to create a Reality Show, but because of their inexperience they caused a big problem.

Nitro is a villain with the power to create explosions with his body and in the middle of a battle with the New Warriors decided to explode, killing 600 innocent civilians including 60 children of a near Elementary school in Stamford Connecticut. It was a national / global tragedy, and this starts a chain of events for the Superhuman Registration Act to be implemented.

The result of the Civil War was the death of [captain] America.

Now the coincidences:

New Avengers Inhumanity #13---Marvel Comics---2013.

In order to find a way to stop the incursions, Black Swan is attempting to convince the Illuminati of Earth 616 [Black Bolt, Namor, Reed Richards, Iron Man, the Beast, Dr Strange and Black Panther] to build a device called the Mirror to peer into other realities, to prepare for the coming of the Black Priests. As the team attempts to understand what it is they're trying to build, it dawns on Reed that he has done so before- The Bridge. At the same time, Doctor Strange has locked himself away in the Sanctum Sanctorum, performing an ancient ritual with the Blood Bible, preparing to sacrifice anything and everything to restore himself to the sorcerer he once was- even at the cost of his soul.

Having built the bridge, the Illuminati travel to the Earth-23099 in an attempt to find a solution to the incursions only to witness a battle between the illuminati of this alternate Earth and an army of golden sentinels that try to Prevent Their world from dying.

The golden sentinels, the Black Priests destroy Earth 23099 and detect an active mirror that leads them to earth 616 to worsening the situation of the Illuminati.

The real world:

"Scientists at Large Hadron Collider hope to make Contact with parallel universe in days..."

Mir Faizal, one of the three-strong team of physicists behind the experiment, said: “Just as many parallel sheets of paper, which are two dimensional objects [breadth and length] can exist in a third dimension [height], parallel universes can also exist in higher dimensions. We predict that gravity can leak into extra dimensions, and if it does, then miniature black holes can be produced at the LHC.” Normally, when people think of the multi-verse, they think of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where every possibility is actualized. “This cannot be tested and so it is philosophy and not science. This is not what we mean by parallel universes. What we mean is real universes in extra dimensions.”

Something may come through' dimensional 'doors' at LHC
Attack of the Hyperdimensional Juggernaut-Men

A top boffin at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) says that the titanic machine may possibly create or discover previously unimagined scientific phenomena, or "unknown unknowns" - for instance "an extra dimension".

"Out of this door might come something, or we might send something through it," said Sergio Bertolucci, who is Director for Research and Scientific Computing at CERN, briefing reporters including the Reg at CERN HQ earlier this week.

Re: Adventures through the Multiverse..
The Bridge

Created by Reed Richards to either observe or enter alternate and parallel worlds. It gave him insight into what went wrong, causing the Initiative, Civil War, and the Skrull Invasion, ultimately leading to Norman Osborn [Green Goblin...Norman is strangely very similar to the features of George W. Bush] being put into a position of power. He also used it to contact the Interdimensional Council of Reeds to accept their offer of membership.

The Mad Celestials of an alternate universe used the Bridge to enter Earth-616 in an attempt to conquer the universe. However, they were defeated by the Future Franklin Richards and Galactus.

Reed ultimately dismantled it, but decided to rebuild it in 2013 in order to witness how other universes dealt with the Incursion events to aid his efforts with the Illuminati. Almost a year later Reed would create a portable version of it due to the Illuminati's need to be constantly on the move to avoid pursuit.

Re: Adventures through the Multiverse..
Cosmic war or how it could have happened the war against the reptilians

“we won war with reptile our line time long ago we evolve then reptile yor line time keep u back u can not grow…” Entity—CHANI project.

The Kree-Skrull War---Marvel---- 1971

The Kree, also known as the Ruul, are a scientifically and technologically advanced militaristic alien race. True Kree resemble humans almost exactly, with the exception of blue skin. Although a second racial group with pink skin resembling that of human Caucasians emerged over the millennia. The Kree are responsible for the creation of the Inhumans by experimenting on early man.

The Skrulls are a race of extraterrestrial shapeshifters like reptile. Millions of years ago, the Celestials performed genetic experiments on the reptilian ancestors of the Skrulls, resulting in three branches of Skrulls that eventually warred with one another. The Deviant branch—possessing the innate ability to shapeshift—were triumphant, and afterward wiped out all members of the other two races.

The Kree shared the planet Hala with the Cotati, a race of plantlike humanoids. Their planet was visited by the Skrulls, whom at the time where a peaceful race. They told the Kree and the Cotati that one of their species would be chosen to represent their planet in an interplanetary counsel. To chose which species it would be; they sent both the Kree and the Cotati to our moon, and told them each to build a city there. The species that built the best one would be chosen to represent the planet. The Kree labored over building a city (what is now the blue area of the moon) while the Cotati slept.

When the Skrulls came back to the moon to award a winner they found that the Cotati had grown a huge garden while they slept! The Cotati won the contest. Furious, the Kree killed all of the Cotati and all of the Skrulls that visited their planet. They then used the Skrull ship to go to the Skrull home world and start the Kree-Skrull wars.

The peaceful Skrulls were again forced to become war-like to defend themselves. The Kree-Skrull War would continue for hundreds of thousands of years.

About 250 years later the Kree Science Council, aware that the Skrulls had once created an incredibly powerful weapon called the Cosmic Cube, designed cybernetic-organic supercomputer called the Supreme Intelligence to help them in creating a Cube. When the computer became functional, it determined that a Cosmic Cube would be too dangerous to construct and refused the Science Council's request. The computer was then used simply in an advisory capacity.

Over time, and as the war with the Skrull dragged on, the Supreme Intelligence gradually accrued more and more political power and responsibility until finally it was elected as absolute ruler of the Kree. Eventually, the Supreme Intelligence came to be worshipped and an organized religion built up around it.

Eventually the war reached Earth that became a strategic and military point for both Kree and Skrull. The Avengers became involved in the latest round of Kree-Skrull hostilities. The Skrull were revealed to have been infiltrating human society in an effort to control America's political infrastructure, using their shape-shifting abilities to replace key political figures. As the war escalated and Earth's position became increasingly precarious.

The Avengers discovered a vast 'Skrullian' armada en route to devastate the planet Earth and a equivalent Kree fleet poised to annihilate the Skrulls. All sides were determined to either invade or decimate the Earth in order to prevent it falling into the 'wrong' hands. Led by Thor, Iron Man and The Vision, the Avengers launched an attack on the Skrull flagship, somehow managing to turn back the fleet after a desperate battle.

Skrull Empress R'kill and the Kree Supreme Intelligence believed that the war had reached a stalemate and proposed a final resolution through single combat between the Skrull warrior Raksor and the Kree soldier Bel-Dann.
The arbiter of the battle, Uatu the Watcher, commented that their willingness to cooperate demonstrated that the Kree and Skrull could work together too. In the aftermath of the conflict, the Illuminati paid a visit to the Skrulls, making it clear that they would not tolerate involving Earth further in the conflict much longer.

The Skrull vowed revenge, starting with the replacement of some heroes thanks to its shape-shifting abilities and thus divide and sow distrust between them.

Not going to go into how personal this is for me, but in my timeline the Roosevelt ("The Rosey") was scrapped in the late 80s, laid down during WW2.

Mindbendingly enough, recently she arrived in the UK. I don't even know what to say. I know for a FACT she was scrapped, and laid down WAY before 1981.

Apparently, I'm the only one from this particular timeline.

Re: Adventures through the Multiverse..
Bigger than a multiverse.

What if in those infinite universe there were specific designations and you start at Earth 1. You get the ability of multiversal travel and travel to Earth 5, then 3, then 7708 before going back home.

BUT you have to then take into account your timeline could also go an infinite number of ways, too. So starting at Earth 1, you could have travelled to Earth 6, 77, then 7789065432 before going back home instead. It could and does happen an infinite number of ways.

Infinite possibilities in itself for one universe is complicated as fuck, but when you start being abe to travel across an infinite mutiverse in an infinite number of ways...I mean bloody hell!

I don't know if I explained that well, but hopefully enough for people to get what I mean.

Thank you...I´ve been collecting comics since 1994...something strange happened after 2001 and the process accelerated after 2011. During 2013 the comics of the leading companies focused their stories on cosmic aspects and stages of the end times.

Re: Adventures through the Multiverse..
Our worlds at war…. Or Superman´s grief after 9/11

Adventures of Superman #596---Our worlds at war crossover ----DC Comics---- 2001

Imperiex, an embodiment of entropy, detected 'imperfections' in the fabric of the universe, and his ultimate plan is to destroy it and create a new, perfect universe. He head to Earth, the planet which holds the universe together after being the center of the Crisis on Infinite Earths, in order to destroy it and thereby induce a new Big Bang. Imperiex's early threat was notice after attacking and destroying Warworld while heading Towards Earth. This forces Earth's superheroes to make an unlikely alliance with Darkseid.

The war with Imperiex culminated with the sacrifice of Strange Visitor, which allowed Earth's forces to crack Imperiex's armor, intending that Darkseid would subsequently use Boom Tube technology [open a portal] to transfer Imperiex's energy back to the galaxies that he had destroyed. However, Brainiac 13 with Warworld interfered and absorbed Imperiex's energies, vowing to use them to rule everything.

Earth is suffering great destruction. In a desperate gambit, Superman dived into the heart of the sun, thus gaining a massive power boost that enhanced his abilities significantly but he realize that Warworld couldn't be destroyed without releasing Imperiex and triggering another Big Bang. So Lex Luthor activate a temporal displacement weapon, Superman subsequently push Warworld through a temporal boom tube. Which sent both Imperiex's and Brainiac 13's consciousness back to the time of the Big Bang, where they are destroyed. Superman remains depowered after the battle. In his final moments, Imperiex realized, in an ironic twist, that the imperfection he had detected in the universe was himself.

metrop911

Superman finds himself unable to function as before while the world rebuilds following the war. Several panels even feature spine-chilling images of the Lex Luhor´s Trade Center towers being rebuilt, having sustained heavy damage in the invasion. But while the superheroes of the Earth assist in the rebuilding and recovery efforts, Superman struggles with his own grief, having lost his home and parents only a short while ago. Superman still wrestles with emotional turmoil, and President Luthor even chides the Man of Steel for failing to help in a time of greatest need.

Meanwhile in this universe we call “real life”…

We know the history… Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The terrorist attacks on the WTC killed 2,996 people and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage.

Wednesday 12th 2001. Superman issue # 596 [5+6=11 and 9 ] went on sale worldwide... Due to an unfortunate coincidence the Superman comic features a scene in which Metropolis' twin Lex Corp Towers have sustained damage due to events in the "Our Worlds at War" storyline.

This issue was shipped to stores around the world the day after the September 11 attacks in New York City. It couldn´t be possible to print the scene of the towers the same day or the week before. “Our Worlds at War” storyline was published by Dc Comics during the summer of 2001 and the final issues were released in September. DC quickly announced that the issue was returnable although few, if any, were actually returned.

Adventures of Superman #596 In the cover featured a Superman with a red and black chest logo, a new version intended to reflect his new attitude in the aftermath of the summer’s "Our Worlds at War" crossover event. But in reality seemed like the man of steel was on a funeral after the events of 9/11

The typical logo of yellow and red was replaced for black and red, his new logo indicated that he will carry on, but in remembrance of those that fell in DC’s universe-spanning war.
