Morning dread that disapates
It may just be me or some fucked up psychosis. More often than not when I first wake in the morning I have this "dread" or reality of situation? Every fucked up thing is in crystal perspective BUT over I would say an hour or so it slowly fades away. Ranges from all sorts of shit. Anyone else? Or should I call Dr. Batshit? Anyone?

It's not brought on by any dreams either? Never has anything to do with anything thought prior day or week? It's some strange shit?

You're not alone.

I'd say I'm most doomish in the morning too. Late at night is probably the next most doomish time for me.

Maybe as each day goes on and the stock market hasn't crashed,,no nukes landed on your head, you didn't get the Ebola, Christ has not yet showed up, you didn't wake up and look outside and see Cloud cuckoo land, etc, you realize that you might make it through another day?

Just a theory.

Yes, I have that sometimes. It's like a doomy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Sometimes, I'm not even thinking of anything, it's just a bad feeling. As soon as I hop out of bed though, it disappears.

I often wake up from a dream and "shift gears" from that reality to this one. My dreams are usually so real that they feel like reality.

Re: Morning dread that disapates
That is so freak'n weird you mentioned that!! I just started experiencing this myself a few weeks ago. I wake up with a screwed up perspective on things and as the morning progresses, my mood and perspective improves.

Nights are best. I'm up 'till midnight every night because I enjoy the alone time. 10:00PM to midnight is de-stress time for me.

But the morning thing... weird.
