OK, you can Google.

I will not debate further.

No need to start being nasty.

I`m just trying to bring factual information to the debate and not be scaring anyone.

I install the back up power for many critical pieces of our infrastructure, the back-up power for these plants are protected and will allow the facility to cool down without any issues.

Surfing the news today I ran across this gem.

Nuke plants face EMP disaster as feds scramble for quick fix
[link to www.washingtonexaminer.com]

But, why is this in the news today. We've known about this for many years. Why would it be a headline link on Drudge right now? Somebody trying to tell us something?

You heard about the single Russian jet that overflew one of our most advanced guided missile cruisers and knocked it out completely with some kind of EMP device? I can't vouch for the authenticity as I never did my own investigating, but if true possibly case in point.

That would be awesome if all of our nuke plants got EMPd. A lot of candle lit dinners. Hopefully they add more nuke plants to earths inventory. Really they are fail safe and extremely clean. They should send the spent fuel rods to the sun.

We need a shillidiot flag on here so we can ban AC's as a group... get enough shillidiot flags and you are baned with no admin needing to take action.

How about we decommission these phukking things that should not have been built in the first place.

Build new Coal fired steam generators.

Stop the stupid ass Fracking.

Release Tesla's free energy technology.....

Oh, but that would make all the poor of the world rich, can't have that!

Many people believe the main purpose
for nuclear plants,
is to provide fission materials
for nuclear weapons...
under the guise of boiling water for electricity...lol

My assumption is this is the true reason they're still around...

I find this statement:

"Data collected by the European Space Agency's Swarm satellite array reveals the Earth's magnetic field has recently been weakening at a rate of around five per cent per decade. The field does change all the time, but a rate of five per cent century is more normal, leading some to speculate a pole reversal may be imminent."

Combined with this:

Too be cause for concern.

And so should you.

It's not an EMP they're worried about.

[that ought to send the shills on this thread into a tissy]

5 stars and pin it.
