MAJOR UFO SIGHTING - Vero Beach, Fl

Looks like navy flares.

I hate to break it to everyone, but these two lights are artillery Illumination rounds. They are fired into the air via ship canons or artillery tubes. They hit a specific altitude and burst into action. There is a parachute associated with them but would be hard to see. If not a parachute, then a platform for slowing the round that is carried by the winds until burn out. I have dealt with them too many times in Iraq, and Afghanistan. I have 22 years as a retired military aviation officer, and 6 years as an over-seas contractor in two different war zones. I say this to keep the integrity of the group as I do believe there are UFOs to be found and reported, however, this sighting can be easily explained. Keep up the search....

Ugh.... Not even going to look. Probably Chinese lanterns.

They are bout 6-8 miles out.

One major flaw in the above assessment: if you look carefully, the supposed "flares" are modulating back and forth in luminosity. There are no atmospherics I can think of that would do that. Flares burn at a constant intensity. They don't modulate back and forth like that.

Can't be Chinese Lanterns, unless they can light themselves while out over water dumbass

The guy who said illumination, Is right. I've seen these hundreds of times.

Heh, wish I could have been there with my scope to zoom in on the parachute flares. Actually, not, the Greerophiles would probably have smashed my equipment in retaliation.

if there was something not like illumination rounds then I would consider it. But the color was exactly what they look like. Plus it lasted for a couple of minutes which is consistent with illumination rounds. I would think there was the possibility of hearing the boom but maybe it was far enough away. I dont know. I think probably Greer has in fact seen actual ufos but I dont think this is them.

If they had moved around or even shot upwards and disappeared instead of just extinguishing....

I have mixed feelings about this guy. I think it is a good idea to try and engage and record what happens. But it is a bad idea to make people pay big bucks to sit and listen to you spout off nonsense. It really makes me think he is giving people what they pay for, but that is just what it appears to be. Could be ufos in their golden orbs drawn in by Greer. Reality is much stranger than we understand.

Flares for sure if you pay attention to the clouds they move with the wind also the lights move at the same pace
