Yeah I agree, events happening are just distractions for the most part.

We gotta stop just being inactive consumers and be proactive creators.

The normalcy bias will prevent people who need to read those words from actually comprehending them. A normalcy bias is the range of perception and understanding that is formed from a lifetime of experiences. So many today have lived their whole lives conditioned to believe that government rule is absolute and unquestionable, that welfare programs are somehow not dependence on the benevolence of the state. The very word independence is virtually erased from the lexicon of most people today.

We are in the second to last or even the last phase of the cycle of freedom before bondage. The US is about to go into bondage and doesn't have the first clue about it let alone how to get back out of it to freedom again.

This is from a 19th century historian who noted that the average life cycles of the worlds greatest societies was about 200 years. The US has surpassed this by a little, but look where we are in the Tytler cycle.

From bondage to spiritual faith.

From spiritual faith to great courage.

From courage to liberty.

From liberty to abundance.

From abundance to selfishness.

From selfishness to complacency.

From complacency to apathy.

From apathy to dependence.

From dependence back again to bondage.

"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

Anyway - it was amazing to read the words of the transcript - so powerful and so relevant - and so polite too.

By the way I think we are moving past bondage, it will grow stronger but so will the spiritual faith. One side will win, I think.

Oh we definitely need a rebirth of spiritual faith. On the scale of an entire society though, it comes to late to preserve freedom.

All the preps in the world won't help if you don't understand for all of your independence and valued freedom that we are all still dependent on the providence our Creator. To take that for granted and reject it is to invite the lesson to relearn it.
