That is one tough year! Shedding a few tears for you. Had one of those years some time ago, and all you can do is take one day at a time. Remember to eat, and healthy. Also do your homework, not everyone has to die, homeopathic remedies may help. Accept help from friends, which I guess is what you're doing here, so that is good. One day at a time. |

If you would be so kind I would really appreciate it. I think I am seriously starting to loose it. They say God only gives you as much as you can handle...but I don't believe that right now. Some of you know I lost my sister in law last year to cancer. Then I did a court battle for a year to save my niece (won and she's back with us in AZ), Thanksgiving found out my mother-in-law has terminal lung cancer and was given a few months. We are repeating home hospice all over again. Two weeks ago we were told Grandpa was given a few months. Needs a valve replacement but they won't do it because he is 'too old'. A week ago I found out a friend of mine who is very dear to me is dealing with some serious health issues and waiting for the fucking insurance company to approve her for treatment. And now my Dad. It is too much and I have a really bad feeling about my Dad. I am already planning two funerals for this year....I can't take any more. Quoting: SkinnyChic I'm sorry sister! I know all is overwhelming right now but please remember His Word trumps our feelings - believe and know that He WILL carry you through...He IS faithful! Praying |

When you can't take anymore, it's time to think about yourself even during these times .. Take a long ride and scream, walk out into the woods and collapse and look at the sky .. Do something simple to clear your brain .. And then keep fighting .. Always here for you to talk .. Message anytime .. You are obviously strong, stay healthy .. If your dreams don't scare you.. they aren't big enough. |

You don't need prayers...you need perspective. Much love to you in your hours of fear. But I think...we don't die...just open the door to another dimension. |

Quoting: SkinnyChic wow that is a load - very sorry nothing that I can do can lift the burden but I can pray you need to gain your moment - your life is in you and not the issues of others - easy to say right ! your asking for prayers so I pray your living soul will find peace with the one that brings peace all the other issues will play out and be what they will life and death - they are all in one - death is part of the life issue but it is core to peace you can't have true peace until you come to terms with death issues of course I will pray for your Dad :boy spiral: |

Have faith. Be encouraged; we may not understand "why" now, but someday we will. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You.”. Psalm 9:9-10 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. Psalm 118:8 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act. Psalm 37:5 Remember, you are NOT alone: [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24 "This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:7 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 64184567 United States 01/29/2015 11:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I lost my father in 1987 to cancer and a subsequent heart attack, after having recently lost my Grandmothers, and then a few years later I lost my best friend to suicide. Along the way I have suffered many gains and losses including my own health issues ruining my career as a chef and harming my career as a musician. There have been times when it seemed I wouldn't be able to handle it and that I would just give up because at every moment of healing a new grief would come. But eventually I came to realize that this is how our lives are and that we must never give up because of grief. it is so painful because of how much you love your father, and I commend you for reaching out and asking for prayers. It is so painful because of how much you love your family and your friends and I think that speaks so highly of you that you are so wounded because only in these wounds do we realize the true nature of our love for others. I am shedding a tear for you and I will pray that this message can be even slightly helpful. Do not give in to despair but know that there are millions, even billions that share this painful grief.....and yet we move on because that is what your father and your loved ones would want as well my father and my loved ones. I have some heart issues and so I can relate pretty well. I'll be praying that your dad pulls through. |

I am doing much better today. Thank you all so much cause I truly credit all of your prayers and I feel God has given me support. (I had a very long talk with God last night. Lol) My inner strength has returned. I am the hospital contact now and giving my family all the updates. My Dad is currently stable. An Electrologist is coming today to test his pacemaker. Trying to determine if it's the pacemaker, his heart, or both. Once we get those answers then the treatment team can make a plan. Thank you each and every one of you!!! Your words of encouragement have been extremely uplifting!!!!! And I appreciate that so many of you have responded, because I admit it is very difficult for me to ever ask for help. |
