The mentally ill kook was already fired from his job. So he gets drunk and calls 911 and tells them that if he was still employed, then he would have poisoned Boehner. Why is this even a story? Why do TPTB want to make people feel sorry for the sorry and pathetic excuse for a human being that is Boehner? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 61806799 prepare for a visit from the FBI, you done just crossed that fine line son. That is a fucking threat on a federal official. Pray they decide not to charge you. Yes, might as well pack a bag and sit down and wait for them. . Kinda sad that most americans are terrified of saying the wrong thing on the internet about our traitorous politicians.....for fear of being visited by alphabet agencies who spy on us, tax our alcohol and tobacco, enforce silly gun laws, etc. Shows how far we've fallen since 1776. Just saying. No country on this fucking earth has greater freedom of speech than the United States. There are very few, very few, criminal things you can say in order to allow for society to exist. You cannot threaten people with death, and while in arguments said out of anger, it is usually not taken seriously, posting a desire to kill a federal official online saw it can exist for eternity and easily be shown to the authorities, is certainly a way for it to be taken seriously... Also, believe it or not, America has the least corrupt officials in the world, hard to believe, I know. You are limited in your ability to stifle corruption and public policy (those gun laws and taxes you allude to) through political engagement and voting. Planning to and threatening to kill government officials is most certainly NOT the way to go about it. Not even the founders of the United States did this. It was only once the British starting killing and jailing civil protesters that war commenced. Actually, I take the part about the founders back. As Jefferson was most certainly an "extremist," although he won, and created the greatest nation the world has yet to see, so he is considered a hero. But by all indications he not only wanted all out war from the start, but wanted to continue it after it was over. Quite frankly, the man detested the British empire while the rest of the founders simply wanted self governance. Adams and Jefferson were much different on this point. While initially good friends, they grew to be near enemies. Jefferson resented Adams close relationship with the British. In intellectual circles, Jefferson probably would be considered even a bigger hero if his plans had worked, but they failed miserably, and pretty much died with the disastrous war of 1812. |

Just saying. Some how I don't think our Founding Fathers supported death threats against the third in line for the Persidency. . Washington certainly would not have. He put down the Whiskey rebellion with ease. Pre or post republic of the United States of America? Under British rule, I think Jefferson most certainly would have supported assassinating public officials. Probably would have been able to find quite a bit of followers to. As he really did, in his push for war. |

After searching his house, the cops came up with a pistol, ammunition for the pistol, and a SKS magazine (no rifle, just the magazine) No poison found, and he had no rational plan to carry out the assassination. Anonymous Coward User ID: 61806799 Germany 01/13/2015 10:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | USA invented guerilla warfare, including the Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45060997 assassination of ranking officers. Until the Revolutionary war, they'd lined up the plebs to shoot each other, with officers well identified but behind the lines. No it didn't. Guerilla, or assymetrical warfare had been around for a long long time. Even in the same time period, American colonists were not the first to engage in this type of warfare. In fact, they fought against it in the French and Indian war. |
