Anonymous Coward User ID: 66842172 United States 01/13/2015 09:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't watch the Sun lately, but about 2-3 days ago noticed, how bright was the sky in the middle of the night. This happened before. Quoting: emerald_glow Today my phone got screwed up and unusual way: it made me look at Spaceweather.com, where they talked about an M class solar flare today at 4:24 UT.: still not a big deal, happened before, but then I looked at the SDO pic on the left side: [link to spaceweather.com] ...it has NEVER been like this before. Yes it has and regularly... I have been watching SDO sine it started to work... this is normal. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 33925809 United States 01/13/2015 09:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK, let me put it that way: Quoting: emerald_glow Instead to several smaller, scattered magnetic loops, they seem to unite in one enormous one in the middle. And that big long filament along the bottom doesn't look good. Thank you OP. Today I felt emotional like I feel these days when the sun does it's thing - but since there wasn't an X-flare - just the M last night, I wondered what was going on. |
