Watch the live sending of Oslo's meeting against extremism.
Good evening everyone hf This might not be as headline-making as PEGIDA in Germany, but here's the link to a live sending from Oslo and the meeting against all form of extremism (and PEGIDA). I do think Norway is doing something right!

Please enjoy, sadly it's all in Noregian. [link to www.nrk.no]
The mood seems engaged and one of community as different speeches are taking place. What are all of your thoughts / opinions about these meetings all around Europe?

If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes.

Re: Watch the live sending of Oslo's meeting against extremism.
Although NRK is only sending one of two meetings. Perhaps they are partial, or they don't wish to start a PEGIDA fire in their own country? Looks like a lot of people have met up for a country of 4.5 Million people. The weather looks quite cold as well.

Oh look at that! They did change over to the PEGIDA demonstration! How wonderful of them, at least 200 people have met up. More then any previous time in Norway. Seems this new acronym would be on everyone's lips for a while.

The commentator mentioned that there will now be a PEGIDA meeting every Monday from now on. An Imam is holding a speech, against Muslim hate and how a Buddhist can't get a job because he looks like a Muslim in Norway. That's back to the main demonstration in Oslo again.

By the end of the demonstration I lost a bit of faith in Norway actually. They allowed that Imam to blabber on and about his quite off topic themes for a long time.
