Basically, jury nullification is a jury’s way of saying, “By the letter of the law, the defendant is guilty, but we also disagree with that law, so we vote to not punish the accused.” Ultimately, the verdict serves as an acquittal. Quoting: McGuyver Haven’t heard of jury nullification? Don’t feel bad; you’re far from alone. If anything, your unfamiliarity is by design. Generally, defense lawyers are not allowed to even mention jury nullification as a possibility during a trial because judges prefer juries to follow the general protocols rather than delivering independent verdicts. Surprisingly, the Supreme Court has routinely agreed that judges have no obligation to inform juries about jury nullification. Quoting: Last Cause He kept claiming he was powerless to use judgment, and that it wasn't his job to question the tickets cops write. It's messed up when judges think deranged cops have the highest authority. I think it's by design. They want everyone to think any state employee, including traffic cops, has absolute authority. Here's how the judge described the accident: I hit the front of the other driver's car with the side of my stationary car - causing a large dent in the side of my car and causing the other, larger, heavier SUV to skid off the street. He thinks I can swing my car like a baseball bat and belt them out of the park. He wouldn't let me read the law to the jury, and he wouldn't let me give them copies of it to read for themselves. He rewrote the law to make me guilty. In his instructions to the jury, he said they weren't allowed to look at a dictionary. I thought it was absurd. Judges throw their own mad hatter's tea parties. Juries need to take the law back from these lunatics. But the jury was brain dead. Love is easy and messy. |

Apparently he's never heard his job title said aloud. I couldn't believe it. I wrote complaints to the justice department, the mayor, the governor, and the local newspaper. I gave them smoking gun evidence that the judges destroyed evidence, lied in court, and tampered with evidence, as well as quoting the insane things they said. No one cared. The newspaper wouldn't print the story. I had to get out of town because I won't live under such insane authorities. The judge actually agreed that juries could do that, but he forbid me to tell the jury, as well as forbidding me to show them the law. He gave with one hand and took right back with the other. He nullified nullification. When I was put on trial, the judge practically told the jury the prosecution didn't prove their case. He told them they couldn't consider unsubstantiated accusations made by the prosecutor in their deliberations because that's basically all he did the entire trial. There was no evidence, no witnesses and no victim. My "crime" as many of you who know my reputation probably suspect had nothign to do with what i was being accused of and more to do with my "political veiws" as they relate to liberals, fags, commies and jews.(take your pick, I offend them all). The cocksucker kept accusing me trying to get me to jump his ass so I would look violent and I just sat there staring the fucker down.
