won't happen since every member states have to agree and vote accordingly, Germany is stuck in the Lisbon treaty scheme, so you keep the boulder tied to your neck Germany.

Op, think scotland if you want your answer to this thread.
Did you think it ever possible for scotland to be allowed to break away from britain. Chance of sun dying on us would have been more.
Its exactly the same situation here. Only way left will ever be allowed to win is if all their leaders are bought in advance

Syriza will probably win but then backtrack on all their promises and be as much an EU/IMF lapdog as the last administration.

Thing is with the Lisbon Treaty is that countries just cannot leave.
The whole treaty is broken if only one leaves: a new treaty has to be constructed. It really is set in stone (in the EU dictators' minds anyway - and they do rule Europe with a rod of iron, look at Scotland's experience: that 'election' was stolen).

That's partly why a Greek departure would cause massive waves. The other thing is that the departure of any country from the EU would spell out loud and clear that the EU project is a failure, the emperor has no clothes, and it's not a democratic institution.

The fantasy vision behind the EU originally was that we would all be jolly good fellows to each other and help struggling nations to get up to speed. That's why so many eastern european countries couldn't wait to get in and get their snouts in the very lucrative trough.

Clearly, Greece has been treated like shit to try to get it to toe the EU line. It's had sanctions imposed, the EU's parachuted in unelected EU officials to run the country (in the birthplace of democracy! ) and generally been terribly kicked around. Sadly, I fear that Greece will be Scotlanded come Sunday.

fuck the EURO-zone and the whole European "union".

You cannot have a thriving European union, when the top economy withing the union is Germany and therefore claims the leader position, blackmailing everyone within it, while itself is being controlled by the US, occupied with secret laws and fake democracy ever since WW2.

How was this union supposed to ever thrive when the leading nation is compromised? And the nation which compromises it, is itself compromised.
