So sad.
Quoting: Little bird Yes, it was very sad and shocking to read about this. As I stated, last year they lived right next door to me. The fellow was continually screaming at their other child, and although I never actually SAW him hit her, I can report that I heard the SOUNDS of her spanking her really hard. (this was one of the "other" children they have~~~ the one listed as the 2 year old).  You may want to call the Lakeland Police Dept with this information. The woman - looks - challenged. The man, well - he looks disgusting. This is going to be a complex case. I hope the older children get the care they need. I too hope the children get the care they need. From what I witnessed here..... they did not. When the one year old baby would cry, he would scream, cuss, and hit her. (as I said, I did not SEE it, but a few of us HEARD the smacks.... ) I was also told she was not concerned with timing of feedings of the one year old...... and was not "tidy" or did not clean up the house nor the child. They honestly used that house they rented as just a trash bin. Trash was piled up so far and so wide, that it made it hard to get through the house. This is just heartbreaking. Especially when it was "this close" to home.
