This entire thing has been so very sad.

It still is..... this will be ongoing since those parents are in jail facing charges. LIFE in prison or DEATH PENALTY!

In the video clip, that mother showed absolutely NO emotion. She seemed a little "miffed" to be honest with you......

She seemed also a little "mad" too. Like they had messed up her "facebook" time. Yes, she WAS on my facebook, and I checked right after this news. I noticed she had posted things up until probably they arrested her.

THIS is how I KNOW that little baby was named after HIS mother. NOW... ummmm.... WHO is going to name a child that he KNOWS is NOT his..... after their mom. Ummmmm, NOOOOO.

22 DAYS old? How do you do that to anyone, let alone your own child?! My heart breaks.

I called the detective, and I made a report.

They are going to come and interview me in the next day or so to get it on tape.

The detective said there were no words to aptly describe this 22 day old child as to how it looked.

It is done.
I called the Lakeland Police department this morning. I was routed to the detective in charge of this case. I told him mostly what I could remember. I will be writing down any details so that when they come here to interview me (they want it on TAPE) that I will not forget what to say. Ugh... I get nervous under pressure and forget things.

Anyway, yes... the detectives will be here this week or next to speak with me in person.

They were very thankful for the information I provided.

The lead detective is coming out to take a recorded statement from me. He said he would call me a bit later this week and set up a time.

I did not sleep a wink last night on account of all of this. Soooooo, I got up FIRST thing this morning and called the Police Department.

This is going to be a murder case, and there will not be a plea agreement allowed.

Life in prison or the death penalty.

That is what I have been told.

I will either make a new thread or UPDATE this one when I know more. The lead detective will be here next week to give me an interview on what I do know. They are piecing it all together, and I do indeed have some of those missing pieces.

You were Facebook friends? But sound like you barely knew them enough to report slapping sounds? Then you just report to your landlord? Something sounds a little odd here OP.

They were my neighbors for a short while. During THAT time did they become "friends" on Facebook (which I never go on BTW) The people were not "close friends", yet again, I will report to you they were my neighbors for a short while.

There is nothing "odd" or "off" about what I am saying regarding what I know.

When it is summer or fall here in hot weather climate, one must open a window OR turn on the air conditioner. They chose to open all of their windows. Their bedroom window and my bedroom window are less than probably 10-15 feet apart. I could go measure it if you would like; however, when the detective gets here then he will be sure to see what I am saying is true. When it is that close of a proximity and the windows are open, you can't HELP but to hear things...... I heard many things.... ok..... (?!)

Before the detective comes here to interview me, I am sure he is first getting information from the "parents" and other family members. I will indeed contribute what I can in this.

Sometimes God puts us in the path to assist others. I am cut to the core of my heart to help this innocent child that did not have a chance. For whatever reason, I have been put in this position, and it would be wrong for me NOT to speak up.

That is questionable.

They did live HERE in Florida not too terribly long ago. So their move up North must have been fairly recent.

They were in protective custody with DHS I suppose. I would imagine the authorities would NOT just hand the children over without proper detective work and exhaustive case managment on the "other" members.

I will ask the detective when he comes here. He has not interviewed me yet; although, it is coming.
