As much as I loathe the government protective agencies, YES.

The worst thing about it is cops and social workers will come out and do their stupid file cases, which their only goal is to do their job and close the case...but the best case is they put some fear of god into those ppl knowing that they are on the radar and they are liable for something.

I know.

I have a mother that had adult protective services called on her multiple times because of the stuff she was doing in public. Luckily she's in assisted living now, and even left a VM for her case worker letting her know...no call ever returned.

CPS will have a case and keep at it until the case is closed/children safe.

This is going to be a complex case. I hope the older children get the care they need.

I'm not at all a fan of government intervention in peoples private lives but these two are grade AAA examples of why forced sterilization shouldn't be always and unequivocally out of the question.

From what I witnessed here..... they did not.

When the one year old baby would cry, he would scream, cuss, and hit her. (as I said, I did not SEE it, but a few of us HEARD the smacks.... )

I was also told she was not concerned with timing of feedings of the one year old...... and was not "tidy" or did not clean up the house nor the child.

They honestly used that house they rented as just a trash bin. Trash was piled up so far and so wide, that it made it hard to get through the house.

This is just heartbreaking. Especially when it was "this close" to home.

Betsey Kee Stephens was declared dead at the hospital.

The child would have had a low IQ and been retarded, since it has the same genetics as these people. Just be glad the child would have been too stupid and would have grown up to be a thief, a rapist, or a drug addicted scum.

The news story mentioned the words "obvious infidelity".

How would infidelity be "obvious"?

If they couple had lived apart for a period of time, OR

If the baby was of a different race.

There was no mention of the couple having been separated.

My wife and I would have taken that child into our home and gave her the love she deserved. They didn't have to murder her. My heart is breaking.
