The above still stands - and even more questions has arisen.

Radio contact lost 6:17, transponder did not send signal at 6:18 as expected. Flight was cruising at 10 km.

I an instance...total silence ... for days - no communication from plane, crew or passengers. No distress calls, no emergency beacons, no transponder, no cell phones...nothing.

However - they have found the wreckage just about where they lost contact. In a narrow strait close to Java.

No footage from the debris field as for now...they say it is foggy and 2-3 meters high waves....so there is no pictures as their low-tech cameras probably do not work in low attitudes or foggy conditions....

Some 8 hours ago the following was reported:

"On Dec 30th 2014 the Indonesian Air Force reported they have sighted the shadow of what appears to be an aircraft at the sea bed about 25-30 meters (80-100 feet) below the water surface, the position is about 160km/86nm southwest of Pangkalan Bun (editorial note: which we convert to approx. position S3.74 E110.67). Divers have been dispatched"

....so it cant have been a terminal velocity crash that happened, but rather a ditch....made by live pilots and probably live passengers too....

No word from the divers yet.

Do a Google picture search on the flight - and you will see the same 3 or 4 pictures that we have seen so far....those are the only footage available.

We the people observing the news and following the developing story here on GLP and elsewhere - therefore still have no factual knowledge of what happened from loss of contact at 6:17 three days ago till now.

We are being told a lot of things - but so far with no evidence presented.

I'm not arguing or anything - just stating facts.

A few hours ago CNN had a headline stating "Flight 8501 found", now they have changed it to "Crash site identified"....

....and now it is even more vague, stating that they have "detected" stuff on the "ocean floor" (a narrow strait some 60 feet deep...4 days into the rescue mission) .

Day 4 after the incident - no new footage released, no factual data added, no key questions answered.....lets hope for all involved that satisfying evidence will be presented soon.

CNN reports that search (again) is hampered by bad weather - however that do not corrospond to the weather information from Java Sea - that reports of fairly calm, small waves etc. [link to www.buoyweather.com]

It states: Breezy whitecapping conditions with moderate choppy seas. Small short period wind waves.
Seas: WNW 0.8 to 1 meters at 4 seconds.
Winds: WNW 15 to 20 knots

Where as CNN state: (CNN) -- Indonesian searchers battled bad weather Wednesday in their efforts to find more remains from AirAsia Flight QZ8501, a day after the first signs of debris were spotted.

The reporting seems not to be consistent - and that is a real problem for all of us wanting facts and not fiction.

Now CNN states that the plane is NOT found:

""Until now, we haven't found the plane," Soelistyo said, according to Indonesia's national news agency Antara."

WTF ?

reports coming out now that it looks like the pilot
made a high speed vertical ascent to 39,000 feet that anyone
would know would stall the engine and make the aircraft drop like a rock.
