Quoting: Comperio * The plane vanished at 32.000 feet (app. 10 km) * No communication after 6:17 * No radar after 6:17 or 6:24 * No signal from CPI (crash position indicator) After 3 days of search - however not during darkness - they now believe to have found the plane, some 10 km from the position where contact was lost. The above still stands - and even more questions has arisen. Radio contact lost 6:17, transponder did not send signal at 6:18 as expected. Flight was cruising at 10 km. I an instance...total silence ... for days - no communication from plane, crew or passengers. No distress calls, no emergency beacons, no transponder, no cell phones...nothing. However - they have found the wreckage just about where they lost contact. In a narrow strait close to Java. No footage from the debris field as for now...they say it is foggy and 2-3 meters high waves....so there is no pictures as their low-tech cameras probably do not work in low attitudes or foggy conditions.... [link to www.nbcnews.com] AirAsia Passenger Jet Overshoots Runway in Philippine City of Kalibo LONDON — A second AirAsia jet ran into trouble after it overshot a runway while landing in the Philippines on Tuesday, forcing those aboard to disembark by emergency slides, a passenger on the plane told NBC News. There were not believed to be any injuries from the hard landing of the AirAsia plane in Kalibo, on the Philippine island of Panay. "There was some turbulence but we didn't expect that landing," Jakata-based journalist Jet Damazo Santos, who was on board the flight, told NBC News. No one has a Brian here or what? If you ditched the airplane you would certainly want to get out of distress call which can simply be done by pressing the button on the joystick they are controlling the plane with. |

There is no hard evidence backing up claims of bad weather. Sometimes it seems like MSM just writes what fits a narrative/emotional state....and ditches any facts that should contradict this.....but that is not journalism. Journalism is to present facts after having checked them. Day 4 after the incident - no new footage released, no factual data added, no key questions answered.....lets hope for all involved that satisfying evidence will be presented soon. Small short period wind waves. Seas: WNW 0.8 to 1 meters at 4 seconds.
