Quoting: The_Brave Go ahead, Defend this and help yourself realize that you have a lot of work to do before you are actually a free person who owns your own self. Damn right. That 4 year old could have kicked that cop's wimpy ass all over the classroom. |

They will not show us much mercy. They never learned what it is. |

Wordsworth I don't think we are going to be forgiven for what we are doing to each other these days. God help us... :seasonsgreetings: Until we all realize this is what happens when you cannot hold those who provide you security accountable, nothing will change. Seasons Greetings my friend! |

User ID: 66371804 United States 12/25/2014 10:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I hate to play devils advocate on Christmas and all, but what else were the teachers and administrators and subsequently the police supposed to do in this situation? Police brutality against citizens is horrible. I do not see this situation as the same. Take away the part that the offender is a 4 year old child and you have standard and proper protocol by a police officer to someone who is a danger to themselves and others. This happened a few years ago in my town. It made national news... Milledgeville, Georgia at Creekside Elementary. Same situation, the child was completely out of control and attacking teachers, students and those trying to defuse the situation. It is standard procedure for a school situation to call the police if teachers and administrators are unable to get the child calm or under control. If that child had injured another student or worse, this would then be a different news story about the incompetency of school faculty to have prevented a senseless attack or death. There is no way for a teacher or faculty member to know if the child is having some sort of mental, emotional or physical breakdown. 911 is first responders. In a situation like this there are three possible authorities that could show up. Police, fire/rescue or ambulance. Given that it "sounds" like this student may have been a special needs child, that changes the dynamic of what the child may or may not do. A 4 year old does not have the capacity to know right from wrong behavior in the way older kids do and when you tack on "special needs" it becomes a wildcard situation where many could have been in danger. There is a fine line here and while I respect what you do to fight these types of things, in this situation I don't feel as though there was much of an alternative to what happened. “My son is a very loving, caring, protective little boy,” Wood said. “He deserves to go to school and feel safe and know that he’ll come back home to his mommy. He won’t be carted off like a criminal.” Unfortunately, her son was acting like a criminal in that moment. I have raised 7 children and none of them ever acted like this child did. The "lasting consequences" of being handcuffed and shackled is a positive thing in this case. That child needs to learn that he cannot not ever, for any reason behave in that manner in public or private because being "carted off to jail" is the only "reward" for that sort of behavior. "The boy allegedly threw blocks, climbed over desks, hit, scratched, and kicked the principal and the director of special education. “The boy was out of control, basically, throwing his arms around and kicking– trying to kick the deputy, trying to run away" “Once he got inside the office, since he tried to run and kick the deputies, they took the handcuffs off him and put the leg shackles on him." When I was in Elementary School, if a student did that, they were PADDLED by the principal and even the toughest kids came back to class crying their eyes out. What about the "trauma" this out of control child caused for the other students present? Butthurt feelings are not against the law. Taking them out on other is. I pose this question: What do you think the school should have done? I didn't mean to do that...or did I? |

He was just a sweet caring boy and he deserves to go to school and feel safe. Well so does every other kid and your little bastard throwing bricks and scratching kids is a problem for everyone else. Maybe if you cared enough to teach him right from wrong your walking food stamp check would't need to be handcuffed. Lord knows it's not the last time he ends up in cuffs, at least some other kid might benefit from the example he's setting. |

No, the retards are the one pushing this "f*ck da poeleece" agenda -- that's just going to make things worse, and make the cops more brutal by pushing them into a corner. Keep this up and we're going to have a situation where we all regularly have police pointing pistols and rifles at us during every little traffic stop. |

Are you defending the actions taken in this incident? Do you believe a 4 year old should be shackled in chains? Do you believe a person endangering no-ones life and selling a product of his own deserves to die? Do you believe that this a free society in which we are able to chose how we are protected? Because we cannot, we have no say and we cannot hold those accountable who investigate themselves. I have a question then... :Who Owns You: |

Flashback: Court Rules You CAN Be ‘Too Smart’ to Be a Cop [link to www.activistpost.com] police forces now make a habit of hiring brain dead monkeys who don't have the intelligence to figure out how to deal with these situations except to start pounding on people. Americans need to remember that the man in the uniform has been deliberately scraped from the bottom of the barrel in the smarts department. |

See if you hire people at your company you are supposed to be able to hold them accountable. But these people have shiny badges that grant them special privileges, because they are above the law, don't work for you and you cannot hold directly accountable. I do not know how people cannot see this. |
