There's a thread here with a "live" video taken right after it happened by a guy who lives on this block about 100 ft from where it was supposed to have happened. He says in the video that he was sitting in his apartment and the only thing that alerted him that something was going on outside was the fact that a helicopter flew over fairly low which prompted him to go downstairs to the sidewalk to check it out. From there he could see that up ahead was roped off and a cop comes over pretty quickly and tells him to go inside where he climbs stairs to the roof and watches from there. Later, he goes back down but they keep people far away. But what's odd is that he NEVER HEARD A SIREN...NOTHING!! That's frigging bizarre.
