Sydney Siege PM Gun Laws Questioned/Inquiry Needed IRAN REQUESTED EXTRADITION
The recent Martin Place tragedy has raised more questions than it has answered.

Some have asked, "how was he granted bail in the first place?"

Another question might be, "considering media reports that he had just lost his High Court Appeal, and was making direct threats against the 'United States and its allies', why didn't police or the DPP apply to revoke his bail under the new Bail Act?

Or in those circumstances, "why wasn't an application made for a 'preventative detention order', which would have allowed police to keep him in custody for up to 14 days without charge?"

Or "with all of ASIO's powers, how was this man able to get a gun and take it into Martin Place?"

Why wasn't he even on the terrorism watch list??

Less than 50%

"Prime Minister Tony Abbott has suggested that firearm laws may need to be changed as he said that the Martin Place gunman had a gun licence despite having a long criminal history that included being out on bail for being an accessory to murder.

As he announced an urgent review into the Martin Place siege that took the lives of two hostages, on Wednesday, Mr Abbott said that while he had great confidence in Australia's police and security agencies, there was a need to reflect on what could have been done better."

Strange as NSW Police Say "Gunman" did NOT have a Licence.

50% rule observed, wayyyy less.

NSW police say they have no records of Martin Place siege gunman Man Haron Monis ever holding a gun licence.

This is despite the Prime Minister Tony Abbott asserting in a press conference earlier that Monis, killed by police in a gun battle after a 16-hour siege, had been allowed to legally own weapons.

"The NSW Police Force has conducted checks with the NSW Firearms Registry and can confirm there is no record of the 50-year-old man having held a firearms licence," a statement issued this evening said.

Mr Abbott's office later issued a statement saying the Prime Minister had been told during national security briefings by "Commonwealth security officials" that Monis had been a recorded firearms licence holder in NSW."

Could this "event" be a catalyst to further tighten Australia's already tough fire arms laws?

The Sydney siege reeks of psyop. something is not right with it. The whole scene looked so scripted and fake. Sheeple react as expected. Like idiots.

I was waiting to see how this would be spun and for what purpose. It did not occur to me that tptb would further tighten our firearms laws.
I wonder if the PM will back track from his assertions or if he will go ahead with "questioning" the current laws.

More concerning news coming to light.
Was this individual recruited by the intel agencies operating in Australia?

Sydney siege: Iran says it 'requested extradition' of gunman Man Haron Monis in 2000

"Iranian police had requested the extradition of Man Haron Monis, the gunman who was shot dead in the Martin Place siege, 14 years ago but Australian authorities would not hand him over, Iran's police chief has claimed in comments to reporters.

Monis had committed a number of "violent" and fraud-related offences before he fled the country "in disguise" in 1996, according to Iran's chief of police, General Ismail Ahmadi Moghaddam.

At the time, Monis went by the name of Mohammad Hassan Manteqi. He fled first to Malaysia in 1996 and then to Australia, General Moghaddam claimed.

Monis applied for, and was in 2001 granted, refugee status in Australia."
