How cute is your dog lol Nice pictures, Roman was the coolest for me though. All snuggled with his jacket on. You spoil that little sausage dog :)
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 65965952 It was nice to be able to take him down to the beach. The water has been up the wall and violent for the last 4 days. It actually finally pushed these massive stumps that have been front of the house for years, to the next house down. The Bay was nearly destroyed by early logging up the river. They would float the logs down the river and into the ocean. But the Bay being tricky to navigate cause many getting stuck. Quoting: Seer777 Do you ever get rust on metal stuff living near the ocean? I used to work in an Electrical shop. I know a few things that can help with electrolysis if it is a problem. Usually exposed cables behind light switches and fans are the first to go. Use aluminium marine multi strand cables and stainless steel fans is the way to go but expensive. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 65965952 It rains in Oregon rather often. So anything left outside that is ferrous will rust if not protected by paint or something. The salt air does hasten that, yes. As far as construction codes, all that is followed to secure against potential environmental damage.
