No conspiracy there.

It's a natural phenomena, we all traumatize one another and the more traumatizing we are to one another the stronger the relationship/bond. In marriages, friendships, and even the relationships we have with non-animate objects like cars, houses, etc. Movies that mini-traumatize the audience forge it's memory into the audiences mind because the stronger the emotion the better storage of the memory. So you're right in a way.

That's because when you're all EMO, your brain recognizes the situation as "important" and stores the information more securely. We all seem to seek out stimulation but we never seek out TOO MUCH stimulation, as too much is stressful, and we do not naturally put ourselves into stressful environments... so you take little baby steps until you graduate and are able to handle once stressful situations with more ease and comfort.

Also, everyone's level of stimulation is different.

Now, why would such trillionares create such a TACKY reality, like the Oscars for example?
