Link please or further info? Is this a book? Something on the internet? What are your referring to? I would very much like to read it. However if there are angels in Idaho I would imagine they're bored to tears if they're in Boisie. That place would truly require the patience of a saint (or an angel) to cope with the utter sttifling dullness of the place, IMHO.. Life really is a banquet - and truly - most poor sucker are starving! Enjoy the ride baby. |

YES, I read it twice back when it first came out. I believed every word UNTIL I came to the part about the Pope of Rome bringing all "Christian" religions together. AS a former Roman Catholic, I knew THAT WAS NOT OF GOD. I do know ANGELS exsist however, and I've had a couple of wonderful personal encounters with these agents from Almighty God. One of the ANGELS appeared as a man, and the other brought the fragrance of heaven with him into my room. Want to know more. Ask me!!! |

I live in Boise Idaho and attend Central Assembly where Roland Buck was the pastor. His son is now the pastor. Roland passed away before I was born but my mom and family had the privelege of being under his teaching. Many many people who are still in Boise will swear by the angel visitation. The angels had messages for certain people and will tell you that no one knew about. The angels knew. Everyone who has talked about Roland says that he was the most gracious, inspirational, humble man of God. He was scared of telling people about the angels...because of some reactions like these. Believe it or not it's ok. But I can't wait to see him in heaven and talk with him. There are a lot of mormons in Idaho. More of a reason for angels to be on assignment! But let me tell you that God can send angels anywhere not just in Boise. I never pray to see angels...it would be cool but more than anything I desire to see Jesus' face. My church has a rich heritage with a lot of hurt since his passing...but I believe that God is doing something mighty and He will pour out His rain on this dry land. And by the way your comments about Boise are not accurate. We have downtown mountains desert...we have it all. Definately not boring it's beautiful and I have never seen a potato farm in my life. Some people geez...but seriously be careful what you say about men of God. It doesn't matter if you believe everything or not, you need to look at the fruit. You never know who might come across your postings. I am very close with the whole Buck family. Be blessed |

Now, it is fairly easy to see that Buck was making it all up. It is not divine, nor is it "satanic," it is a story made up by a confessed and good storyteller. If he were alive and told the truth, he would probably say he made it up for all the right reasons, etc. But it is 100% a work of fiction, a tale told by a man with a decent imagination. |

When I was a kid in school I remember my teacher saying, "If part of the answer's wrong, it's ALL wrong!" You must keep in mind God claims to always bat a hundred per cent, though imperfect people can get it wrong. Most of the doctrines in the book seem sound (the blood atonement, etc.) but I have problems with Buck's assertion that God wants to use the Catholic Church to bring all Christians together. That sounds like the Great Whore comglomerate of false religion predicted in Revelation. Hasn't Buck (or "Gabriel") read his history about all the so-called heretics burnt at the stake during the Inquisition?Did Buck join in and call the Pope Holy Father, a term the bible reserves only for God? What about the statues and the Mary worship? How on earth can God use a church that's gotten bad press for some of the actions of its priests to bring all churches together? Unity around false doctrine is NOT taught in the New Testament. And what about those ashes left over after Buck's heavenly paper dissolved, and they disappeared too? Sounds sort of like Mormon leader Joseph Smith claiming he had the Golden Plates from heaven but lost them.Even Queenie the Dog could have smelled something fishy in Denmark (or was that Boise)? |
