Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss, he is a past life regression psychiatrist. Book is fascinating. Starts with him treating a woman with a water phobia, turns out she drowned in a cave that flooded in a past life. As they are wrapping up her spirit guides come through and start explaining how the whole process of reincarnation works. They chose him because he was a hard core sceptic and highly regarded in the medical community, to tell the world how things work.

I come to GLP for the little nuggets of inspiration that occasionally get posted here, but often get dragged down in the swamp of emotionally charged distractions instead. For this reason, I decided to make use of the advanced technology known as "a bookmark" and use this thread as my landing pad in the future!

I hope your intention of getting people to gather here pans out, it's a great initiative! Keep posting links to other good threads that get posted when you find them, it really helps.

Since I'm posting, I might as well make a little first contribution as well. I don't have many impressive-sounding spiritual experiences to report just yet, but I am making great progress lately regardless:

1. I feel love shining in my heart like a happy little sun! It is almost permanent now, and I easily get it back if something momentarily pushes me out of balance so I lose track of it. Just a quick show of intent, and it's right back where it's supposed to be.

2. I have recently defeated my long-standing personal Nemesis: LUST!

It has taken me many years of struggle, and it wasn't a straight path. The first thing I had to do was to fully indulge in my lust to melt away a thousand incarnation's worth of sexual inhibitions and blockages.

This phase of liberation through application of self-love and self-acceptance took decades, but eventually took me to a point where I could fully enjoy my lust without the least tinge of shame.

But as an unfortunate side-effect, my lust had now grown to near unmanageable proportions, and was a dominating and most destructive force in my life!

Thus began the next phase - subduing my lust by controlling it with my higher mind, but without passing any judgments on it. A delicate work that required certain inner discoveries.

The capstone on this inner work only fell in place very recently. I finally learned how to "lean" on the desired inner energy, instead of fighting to subdue the unwanted ones. When a sudden bout of lust bubbles up in my mind now, I just brush it aside gently and refocus on the core energy I call "a happy little sun in my heart".

That's all it takes to put this particular demon in his proper place, but getting to the point where I had it figured out took many years of struggle and pain.

Nowadays my little lust demon gets to tag along to enjoy the ride when my wife and I have sex, but he doesn't get to control anything or anyone.

I am in balance, and I finally know how to maintain it.

From what I gather teaching people lust is only sexual is a key to the pope satisfying his for power.

Yes, I think that might play an important role, but I'm not sure if I believe it or not...? Regarding females NOT losing life force via ejaculation...

Dang it, I forgot the point I was trying to get across...lol...

Haha, I've actually thought about this part a lot. I've come to a pretty clear understand of how the chakras would synch.

Might get a little tricky if the male was going in with all 7 and the heavenly chakras open tho.

Most people can really only use 1 or 2 open at once from what I've gathered.

I have no clue...Innocence Returned!




That second site I linked seems to have a lot of information on Tantra, maybe they address that.

It's all about breathing.
You might want to research the Ankh and how they used it.

But in short, you want to take short breaths.
Hold for a bit, then exhale.

When you take a deep breath, it floods the brain with oxygen. So you will want to do that right before you orgasm.

When you hold your breath you can concentrate on looping your energy up your chakra system. What you want to do is loop it over your head as it builds. Loop it over your head back into your hear chakra and it will recharge the energy.

But once you take a deep breath it's all over.

from what I can see the only place lust has its place is inside of a loving relationship...and even then it has its limits

That's why it's much easier to be around people who view the world for what it truly is, a wonderful gift to humanity, despite it's shortcomings...

People who get caught up in all that's awful, forget to SEE the simple things and experience life for those moments of bliss and joy...
