(OP) User ID: 7783264 United States 11/20/2014 11:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Would you be as upset if a student complained about a Muslim prayer? Doubt it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16733499 Shill. This is south Louisiana, we believe in God, guns and freedom! There has always been prayer in our schools! The school in question does a "moment of silence" every morning after they say the pledge. This student made it all the way to 11th grade without ever having a problem with prayer, what is different now? The SCHOOL didn't say the prayer, the VETERAN who fought for our freedom and our RIGHT to pray said the prayer, not that it should make a difference who said it, but the VETERAN did it, on VETERAN'S DAY, at the ANNUAL assembly he was invited to! And he simply prayed for the protection of our men and women in uniform and their families! How THE HELL is that "OFFENSIVE"?! Last Edited by #forgiven. on 11/20/2014 11:20 AM #forgiven. |
