if Christmas is pagan...

Apparently trees are pagan so Christians aren't allowed to have trees. Also pagans seem to somehow own certain dates and anything done on those dates is automatically pagan. Or else somebody is just making up fake rules again.

Anything to start another branch or sect or denomination of the already multiple-sub-divided Christian religion. Got to set yourselves apart, got to be more Christian than those other Christians, right? How's a cult leader going to make a living if he can't start a new branch of an old religion.

You can enjoy and participate in Christmas without subscribing to the "Christian" spin put on the age-old holiday celebrating the invincibility, life-giving powers, and resurrection of the Sun every winter solstice.

The Invincible Sun. But actually they probably saw the sun as a representation of the light and goodness and power of God, not as the actual God. Face the East looking into the rising sun and think of God. It works.

Two scenarios: either the pastor/ priest hasn't done his homework and doesn't know, or more likely, the pastor/priest realizes that most people dont want or cant accept the truth so the pastor gives them what they want to keep them coming back with their tithes snd offerings.

Actually, Dec 25 is the birthday of Nimrod's son, called Tammuz.

Tammuz is said to be the reincarnation of his father, Nimrod, who died before he was born. "Yule" is a Babylonian (Chaldean) word that means "child" or "infant". So when people celebrate the "yule season" they are referring to Babylon by using a Babylonian word, so the "child" is referring to Tammuz, not Jesus.

The Romans who loved these Babylonian religious celebrations got Emperor Constantine to adopt and turn Christianity into it. There is a TON of traditions the Roman Catholics practice that are Babylonian religious practices renamed to be "Christian".

Some people actually do care to know what God expects from them and they spend there whole lives searching and doing Gods wills--and then there are the others..the worse thing u could do to them is take away their greedy,materialistic celebration.

Christmas dishonors God. God warned about mixing in pagan worship with true worship.

What is the anewer then....as a Christian how do you honor god...if all churches are misguided?

A true Roman Catholic church will not allow a pine-fir tree to be used during Christmas . A birch tree . Because of past fires or of the pagan ritual with spruce-pine-fir tree ?

Why don't you reflect upon the type of energy & emotions that are created by your course of action. Are you creating negative energy/emotions? Are you harming yourself or anyone else? What type of emotions are generated? Hate, anger, resentment, greed, selfishness, sadness? Or love, joy, generosity, selflessness, gratitude, thankfulness?

Judge your course of action by its fruits. What matters is the energy that you create.

This my friend is where we get the feel good traditions in America. I dare say the "devil is in the details". If you look into it, then you will find "Christmas" had been outlawed prior because of the pagan origins.
