So, this happens all the time. Yesterday while I was gone to the store, she came over here with a shovel and dug up my brand new, blooming hibiscus! I walked over there this morning, and lo and behold, it is planted in her yard.

Any suggestions?

WHAT!!

You're not talking about your imaginary Sky-Goblin or boring us with the story of how you "went to Heaven?"

Your imaginary deity says "'Tis better to give"(sic).

So give her all your flowers, you selfish bore.

I think the best solution would be to buy double the plants anytime you are planting anything and give her half before they are planted.
 Quoting: G. House

Good idea. Yet the hibiscus can't be split.... haha apparently as it sits newly planted in her yard.

Over the summer, she hit someone else's yard up too. Had LOTS of plants.

There is a product that people put around their water gardens to keep the birds from eating the koi from the pond. It hooks up to the hose and has a sensor on it. If anyone / anything activates the sensor, it shoots a stream of water at it. I believe it's called a Yard Guard

I had a similar problem a few years ago, even posted about it here. I worked my butt off all spring and summer on several flower beds, one huge one close to the street. Lots of mail order bulbs. I had some white lilies, and every single time one would bloom, the flower got chopped off! I even sat outside into the wee hours of the morning, hiding behind a large bush to try and catch whoever was doing it. Never fail, the new flower disappeared by the next morning. I finally did call the police, lol! I suspected some brothers a few houses down and across the way, and told the police why. They made a visit to their home, supposedly asking them if they knew anyone stealing flowers! They must not have said I was accusing them because they were always friendly, even after this. But the stealing stopped immediately. So yeah, it can help, if you have decent local cops.

Sorry this happened to you. A Hibiscus is a lot more valuable than a bulb! Let us know what you do!hf

Re: My neighbor lady thieves my plants. What to do?
This is exactly the kind of thing that is done as a covert harrassment. It will start with this kind of ridiculous, outrageous shit. She is probably being paid to do this after being lied to about you. Her employer would be whoever wants you to lose it. They will keep the stupid shit up until you start trying to do something about it. The objective is for you to lose control so that YOU, NOT HER, will get a legal problem, such as maybe you need anger management therapy for elder abuse. You could be a danger to others. They will spin it like that. They will begin to build a case on you and gather evidence of you "anger problem" so they can eventually reach a false conclusion that you are mentally ill. Then that takes away your legal credibility.

Why do they do this? Because if you are a victim of their experiments, they never want you telling about it. Many many people have been victimized and still don't know it. But they have studied us so well that they know all the signs of people waking up and starting to remember. They didn't really have anything to compare with what they were doing. Such a huge experiment has never been undertaken before. They didn't know that eventually all their victims would wake up, and when it started in the eighties, they had to develop strategies for covering up what they did. These included Stasi and murder, and covert harrassment to induce suicide. I know of people including myself who have been victims in all of these ways...

My question is who are you and what else is going on in your life? When they started in on me it was like this. It will be low level local fuckos running some neighborhood watch shit and they will enjoy watching you suffer.

My advice is to totally set her up. Make a video about it. Get a new plant and mark it somehow so she doesn't see that. Then put up a video cam and film her moving it. BOOM she gets a legal problem.

Also whatever you do, DON'T TALK TO HER AND DON'T CONFRONT HER. They will be ready to record that, even if it is just people watching who will remember later. It adds to building up your reputation as someone who is hostile and aggressive.

You CAN, however, learn how to communicate to the abusers without being direct, that you are onto them. You can also as I said, set them up pretty bad. Go for it!

Thanks for your input.

Fantastic. Yes, I know, not fun when people are stealing your plants. She already had a FULL grown hibiscus in her yard. Why did she want my baby one? Dunno, except she really LOVES to steal plants. No joke.

I am NOT one to "lose it" on people, and I really want to handle this appropriately., but this is frustrating.

Glad you got your problem resolved!!

I knew ya'll would come up with some good ones for me. I actually lost sleep over this, so it has been weighing heavy on my mind.

The other day, she was in the other neighbor's yard using the fire pit, and messed it up by throwing sand in it. My other neighbor with the burn pit was very upset. She is a scourge on all of us here when it comes to things like this.

Re: My neighbor lady thieves my plants. What to do?
Wow, I have the same issue. What race? I live in a neighborhood that has recently had a lot of Chinese move in (they are majority at this point). The old ladies are just freaking unbelievable over here -walking around with the little hand shovels so they can steal plants from the park, the other neighbors and the front of my house too. BTW, these are the same Chinese ladies who also dig in all of our recycling bins every week to steal all the aluminum and plastic out (but that's another story).
When I do yell at them, they do this thing where they put their hand up, smile and say "o, so sorri - no english" while they walk away but they always come back

I had to rethink what I grow in front of the house because it is so bad. No more bulbs or flowers. Now I have to think more like Jasmine or Bougainvillea, morning glory - just so that they can't dig it up.

These are shills now, coming out to try to make what I have said sound ridiculous. But I know the simplest things work for covert harrassments. They use all kinds of techniques. But the things that look and seem the most innocuous are often what can really fuck you up, so watch out. They will mix in different psych strategies, such as knowing you are a " good person" -- and counting on you giving her the benefit of the doubt and trying to be nice. If you are like that, then you are probably not aware enough to pay close attention to what is really going on. That is built in to the strategy.

The number one tips for you are:
1. The normal, decent rules of society do not apply
2. Do not confront the woman
3. Never do anything illegal, but you CAN do tricks that are legal to catch the fucks.

The upshot of being a victim is you become hyper vigilant and develop major trust issues. But if you figure things out, it will stop if they figure out that you figured it out. I outed some of the creeps that were bothering me by using Facebook but wouldn't recommend that, I do not EVER use Facebook now. It is a maze of traps. I was being watched by a little old lady realtor who was threatened by me because I recognized that she was violating the HOA by laws by scooping up all the deals in the complex for herself. I played stupid and broadcast on FB (in a happy, friendly tone) what a SUCCESSFUL realtor she was and how if you live in our complex you can count on her to sell your place. She doesn't bother me any more.

I could tell a million more stories about how I have stood my ground where I live, even until the visible signs of child abuse here finally disappeared.

What else is going on in your neighborhood? These child abuse/traffickers watch people in the hood who aren't a part of their operations and they will start in on you even if they only suspect, but don't have proof, that you know anything.
