Re: WTF? Footprint Near Comet Landing Site?
Could the comet mission have been a faked, or was this
the actual reason they went in the first place?

wtf 10
 Quoting: Swerve

What's more possible...landing on something moving a tens of thousand of mph or faking the whole thing?

NASA says there a margin of error in calculating a comet’s trajectory from 1 billion kilometers (620 million miles, 7 AU) away.

Now, Mars will see a very close passage of the comet Siding Spring on October 19th. When the comet was first discovered, astronomers quickly realized that it was heading straight at Mars. In fact, it appeared it was going to be a bulls-eye hit — except for the margin of error in calculating a comet’s trajectory from 1 billion kilometers (620 million miles, 7 AU) away.

But..but..months later we can land on a comet? Months later they can track with such persision that they are able to land something on it?

It's all bullshit

Yes let's spend billions on taking pictures of a rock since there are no current problems on the surface of earth.

Space may be the final frontier but it made in a Hollywood basement

To be honest, I flat out don't see it.

It's near the top right...
 Quoting: SN7

I see it now. I was looking for some sort of impression, but that's not what it is. It's a darker area on the flat surface up toward the top right, in the outline of a bare foot with toes and everything.

Re: WTF? Footprint Near Comet Landing Site?
I've come to the conclusion that everything we get told to believe is just a crock of shit. We take ESA's word for it, how the fuck do we know what's up there? This thing's apparently took 10 years to reach its designated target.

I call complete bullshit, this thing will be staged, just like the moon landing was.

Re: WTF? Footprint Near Comet Landing Site?
Nobody will see anything remotely interesting as this is straight from the horse's mouth: However, it is important to know that such an "open data" policy is not the norm for most ESA and NASA missions. Data from the Hubble Space Telescope, the Chandra X-Ray observatory, the MESSENGER mission to Mercury, or for that matter, some NASA Mars orbiters, are all subject to a so-called "proprietary period", as are the data from ESA's Mars Express, XMM-Newton, and Rosetta, for example.

This period, typically 6-12 months, gives exclusive access to the data to the scientists who built the instruments or to scientists who made a winning proposal to make certain observations. In ESA's case, the length of the period is decided by our Member States when a mission is selected, although in some cases, the period is made shorter when a mission has been in operation for some time.

Didn't that gusifer or what ever his name is guy say something about a nuke event?

This could be an excellent cover for whoever was planning it. Oh we weren't able to divert the meteor, oh no a city is going to be destroyed. Nothing that can be done.

Remember, it is now legal for those in power to use propaganda towards us to get what they want. I think the bill was approved in 2010 or 2011, we all need to be looking at everything to see if there ore hinkie threads to it. No more are we able to chew the cud and drone on. Time to wake.
