What I can't stand is watching good people bullied.

And the severity of the bullying equates to the severity of my response.

Bullied is a term that can be misused to describe a critical response to statements that requires a challenge to defend. When making assertions that may be deemed as questionable, is it not important to make sure that the record is correct or at least clarified as to its validity?

True.

However, sometimes they are outplayed, outwitted, or outnumbered. Which triggers that sense of injustice.

Again perception is key, when a person is abandoned by their "friends" and supporters, is outnumbered the correct verbage?

Ya perception is definitely key, is friend the right word? We all get what we are looking for in the end if we were looking for our self than the self we have found is our reward. There's probably only one person even on glp id actually consider a friend and even that is muddleed in conspiracy. In the end its just the internet and everybody is a nobody.

Whipping boy mentality.

It is said that in abusive household, the abuser will often pick one child to beat on, far more than the others.

Watching your sibling being beat, strikes fear to 'follow the rules'.

Being the one being beaten on, feeds the hero complex of 'saving' ones siblings from the same fate.

Indeed, it does, but it as no bearing are those that are indignant long after the fact and in some cases appeared to be playing both side to garner the attentions of the perceiver victor in the case.

There were few defenders during the altercation, many just watched.
