my first offense was when I was 13, I ran away to make out with a cute girl.

I went to utah boys ranch for 1 year.

It was there that I learned to be a criminal.

That is a young start. I was straight edge up to the end of senior yr.

I have heard horror stories regarding those boys ranches. A whole year? Was it your parents choice?

my mom came to pick me up from school but I ditched out because this girl liked me, and we ran across the street to the college and made out till about midnight, then I was caught walking home.

yeah, it was a nightmare. literal torture called 'wrap sessions' where they would wrap you up in a blanket till immobile then a 300 pound man would plant his elbow into your stomach with all his weight and they would ask you about your life while you screamed bloody murder for an hour a week.

my parents knew, but not the extent.

the fine print of what they signed I showed to them later.

I...don't know what to say about that. Except horrible. And if I ever saw anyone, especially a child being treated in such a manner, I would react instantly and not stop reacting, until it stopped.

So sorry you had to go through that. I saw some difficult things during my senior practicum, but nothing like that.

me, i'm good, thanks :) just moved into a Mason-built stone house in the middle of Springbrook rainforest (where i've been in close proximity to my mother and grandmother for the past year.. sadly, no picnic) where i'll stay a few weeks before moving to a tropical island where i've been approved for a stunning Queenslander home.. can't wait to bathe in the claw-foot tub as i've sooo missed languishing in a bath

and so that'll make my 7th move in just over 3 years..
