Quoting: Seer777 I have heard horror stories regarding those boys ranches. A whole year? Was it your parents choice? O.o my mom came to pick me up from school but I ditched out because this girl liked me, and we ran across the street to the college and made out till about midnight, then I was caught walking home. yeah, it was a nightmare. literal torture called 'wrap sessions' where they would wrap you up in a blanket till immobile then a 300 pound man would plant his elbow into your stomach with all his weight and they would ask you about your life while you screamed bloody murder for an hour a week. my parents knew, but not the extent. the fine print of what they signed I showed to them later. |

I have tried (semi-successfully) to curb the urge for more than twenty years. I rarely seek revenge myself, but I still feel good when someone that wronged me is served a dose of karma. Quoting: Epic Beard Guy Well said. Do you consider 'just desserts' a form of schadenfreude? taking delight in the misfortunes of others is distinctly different from righteous revenge. |

Quoting: aphrodite 65428880 that's good to hear :) is it snowing? i forget why, but i was looking up photos of Portland the other day and i gotta say.. your city is beautiful!! it looks so relaxed, pleasant and lush Heya! I was just thinking about you a couple hours ago. :) How are you? Oregon really is lush and beautiful. I'm in Eugene at current. I rarely make it up to Portland. Unless for baptisms or baby showers. Eugene has a lot of culture, parks, and the University, with less people. Which I prefer. I lived in Seattle when I was 18, and I decided myself and constant traffic, are not cohabitable. oh right, Eugene! sounds gorgeous in itself. you know where it's at Seer :) me, i'm good, thanks :) just moved into a Mason-built stone house in the middle of Springbrook rainforest (where i've been in close proximity to my mother and grandmother for the past year.. sadly, no picnic) where i'll stay a few weeks before moving to a tropical island where i've been approved for a stunning Queenslander home.. can't wait to bathe in the claw-foot tub as i've sooo missed languishing in a bath and so that'll make my 7th move in just over 3 years.. |
