"The master understands that the universe is always out of control". -Lao Tzu The 5th Dimension principal of harmony reveals that supporting others creates strength. The lower dimension mind believes that acquiring or taking from others makes you stronger. Yet, as you can imagine, if all people desire to "take" from others, the fabric of the reality tears itself apart. If you want to start prospering and growing stronger, start focusing on supporting others. If you want to start prospering and growing stronger, focus on supporting others where you can. The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it cannot be changed “top-down”, only in some kind of “grassroots revolution” or better “evolution” where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is). No need for a “big event” but a development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don’t play “their” games - don’t use “their” rules - don’t think in the box of “their” paradigms. It’s more “refuse” than “resist” - without too much ideology. Anonymous Coward User ID: 32809996 United States 11/10/2014 03:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is this confirmed as an industrial spill, or are there volcanoes nearby that you should be concerned about? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59245951 There are no volcanoes, which I am aware about around Moscow. The video above illustrates how smoggy that "release" was. To cover such a large area, I'd say the release was substantial. The main suspects are the Moscow Oil Refinery as well as the sewage aeration plant. About four thousand six hundred square kilometers(1892sq. miles) of urban + suburban land was covered judging by the huge response from the people reporting it from Zelenograd to Podolsk. According to this article [link to www.m24.ru] our EMERCOM services blame the Moscow Refinery, while the Refinery reports of "No noticeable Malfunctions". Please keep in mind our Government has lousy communication. I bet this surfaced after many people reported of an emergency gas dump at the plant. Which is rather hard to overlook if you ask me. Events such as this are usually hushed, if they haven't taken lives directly. I have no doubt the mortality rate will spike greatly after this spillage. As it did when we had the peatbog fires covering the area with smoke in 2010. Luckily the smell has subsided here, but I am getting a very annoying headache. What annoys me the most is the darn expert reply. Most of them gave contradicting advice. Such as open all windows and walk outside (into the cloud of deadly gas). That was the information for those first three hours, until I called the Moscow radio station and told them that windows should be barred up and cars should recycle their air in traffic jams. After that tons of people started to do that by the following people who called in from jams, reporting how the smell got into their cars even with ventilation shut off / recycling. The (my) word "recycling" was heard like a thousand times in the hours after I called. In the event of a large, deliberate gas attack Moscow is DooMed! And it will spread all over the region, with millions of casualties. At least by the current weak response I noticed today. Probably industrial. Russia mostly had an improving safety and pollution controls that were going to match Europe (Since Europe was assisting a lot on that front). Now with all these sanctions on Russia, safety critical devices can't be sold to Russia because it's high technology, and can't be sold to Russia. Now you're paying the consequences for this idiotic game our wonderful governments are playing with the cost of your lives. Most likely some plant tried some mickey mouse solution because they couldn't get any replacement parts and there you go. A good question is why would that plant almost be in the middle of a multi-million city? Its placement is quite old, back when the USSR believed in self-sufficiency. Or at least not as much in long pipelines. Thus a huge Oil Refinery ended up where it's currently located. Then again, the confirmations and retractions of said confirmations considering the source of this pollution are coming in half-hourly now. Someone is doing what we call "Imitation of Vigorous Activity" here for the public, a nice facade. While I am sure deeper inside people are kicking ass to scramble and locate the source of the leak. Their tales of "Everything is under control. The leak is stopped." sound quite ridiculous to me. They haven't found the source yet! If things get worse now the final train from Moscow arrives around half one in the night at our local platform. I'll jump aboard, heading North. This whole ordeal makes me think of US documents discussing a Nuclear Strike and fallout on Russia / Moscow. Their casualty numbers are grossly under-calculated I realize now. You have plants like that all over every major city in the world, especially in Europe. Hell, we have multiple refineries like that all over the Los Angeles area that could release something very bad. |

User ID: 1108306 United States 11/10/2014 04:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | News are coming in from all of Moscow of a nauseating Hydrogen Sulfide smell. Possible spillage from the Moscow Oil Processing Plant in Kapotnya District. Experts are looking for the cause of this pillage and smell. Quoting: Snuffielover Wonderful and useless advice to "Open Windows Wide to air out your room." heard on the radio right now. I'd say tape the windows and airways shut and turn on the car air-re-circulation for those caught in the evening traffic jams. Another update coming in just now is that the gas spillage comes from the Ljublino District. Information keeps getting updated rapidly. The winds are Southerly today, and this huge pollution cloud will probably spread itself over my town pretty soon. Here is the only news item I could find of this. [link to www.m24.ru] The Experts are still uncertain where exactly this spillage came from. I remind you that Hydrogen Sulfide is a Class 4 Health Hazard with even short exposures being deadly. Update. The concentrations of Styrene and Formaldehyde have been double, or five times the safe values from early night tonight in several of Moscow's regions. Not very healthy either. What are your thoughts abut this whole situation? The EMERCOM of Russia is currently telling Moscow's populace that "it is not dangerous. Please be calm." When such an event has not been heard of here in Moscow for at least ten years. Darn Government Officials. This horrible smell has now wafted over our town as I predicted. This unmistakable smell of rotten eggs is spreading wider still. Might be this high pressure ridge enchanting the Iceland's Volcano SO2 releases perhaps? Still a mystery to where the source comes from! Thanks to Dangerwalt for finding this video of the event. Notice how 10-14 story apartment buildings were all covered in this dense and dangerous fog. Hello! As you know I have been working with Luis on the Iceland Volcano thread for the past two months and wanted to share this info with you as it might help. The owners of the Refinery in Moscow have denied any leak, so I looked at the NASA So2 website and found out that there is a large amount of So2 directly over the Moscow area. I monitor this site daily as the Iceland rift fissure is emitting an average of 35 thousand tons of So2 per day into the troposphere. Here is the link and if you change the date at the bottom of the page to 11-10-2014, you will see the large red marking directly over Moscow. Here is the NASA link: [link to earthdata.nasa.gov (secure)] I wounder why the news is not reporting the obvious... The NASA images show significant volcanic gases. Should be no surprise to smell the sulfur. |

The trip was cut short at the railway station by my railroad monthly pass being rejected due to expiring. On my way there the winds were Southerly and I did not notice any smells of Sulfur, or electrical malfunctions. The metal caternary poles which are newly erected show no signs of acid rain scarring, or weathering yet. Wonderful little train adventure trip back, as the carriage was missing all the internal lights. Could watch the city float by dreamily. People seemed healthy, if sleepy. All seemed normal to me.
