K Falls is over 100 miles away.
This EQ area is very sparsely populated.
Wild horses, wild burros and wild people are scattered throughout.
It is interesting to visit.
There are more hot springs in Nevada than any other state.
Really seriously big ranches.

My main concern is if these faults are interconnected as many geologists believe. yes, we sit on the edge of the cascadia plate and will get covered if shasta ever pops off. I keep a pop up camper ready to roll if we get some warning. Still curious about any local people with hot springs, anyone check their temp? Oh yeah, I wasn't even thinking about Shasta. Oh my! And also Crater Lake. Both are active volcanoes and Shasta is even on the watch list. I'm in Klamath Falls and I know where a hot spring is in Olene. I'll go today and check it. And there is also a hot spring in Lakeview. Maybe I can get out that way tomorrow. I'm thinking about driving to the epicenter area. don't forget lassen- first eruption ever caught on film. the land goes from cascadia to the modoc plateau and fractures off into other ranges off the "flat" area. were high altitude, I live at 6,000 feet.
