When you're talking in reference to fault systems, earthquakes and the geological structure, 100 miles is a little close.

In addition to Klamath, within close proximity to this area is Lakeview and Alturas.
My main concern is if these faults are interconnected as many geologists believe.


yes, we sit on the edge of the cascadia plate and will get covered if shasta ever pops off. I keep a pop up camper ready to roll if we get some warning.

Hey, its nearly a full moon too.

I did not see any automatic data collection and solar powered satellite equipment at the hot springs we went to this last Spring.

Unless there is a grad student or USGS tech out there its going to take awhile.
