Officials said they hope to make it part of a system of health checks which are already offered to everyone between the age of 40 and 74.

...Last month health officials introduced a new scheme which means GPs will be paid £55 for every extra patient diagnosed with dementia in the next five months.

Leading doctors said the initiative was an “ethical travesty” but officials insisted the scheme was necessary to boost low rates of diagnosis in this country, with just half of patients with dementia receiving a diagnosis.

Lying liars.

They are spinning this for the reasons of 'so you can change your lifestyle earlier and prevent it'.

Lying liars.

These are the same people who claim not to know the cause of Alz. and dementia.

Lying liars.

This is the DEATH PANEL, and I'm calling bullshit on them.

People (citizens) suggest certain things that may cause Alzheimers and dementia, but no one really knows. Aluminum is thought to be a cause; and sugar and carbs is another suggestion that I've heard.

The above article suggest that a healthy lifestyle will avert the horrible effects of dementia and Alz. disease.

I know lots and lots of people who have slipped into that and they lived such healthy lives: eating right, exercising even into their twilight years; some of them not drinking one drop of alcohol or drug taking.

And now, they claim that they want to make this test part of a regular medical checkup to help divert dementia and so perhaps the person that is 40 and over can change, blah, blah, blah.

They are LIARS and I don't know about y'all, but it's clear as crystal what they are conjuring up.
