Woman drinks a gallon of water per day and the results are shocking! | |

Richard - 5 months ago I know a thing or two about studio portrait photography and I can tell you that the two images have different lighting. The first has a harsher, overhead light that casts shadows downward, accenting the lines in her face. The second has more directional (straight on) light with a possible reflector filling in the shadows and it's softer, thereby virtually removing all signs of "aging." If you look at her eyes in the "after" image, you can see the specular highlight reflection of the portrait light being used, which means the light is much lower. The first image has NO light reflection in her eyes. I get really tired of dubious claims that are "proven" by the use of so-called "before and after" images like this. Maybe this was one of Dr. Oz' ideas?" THOUGH I will say drinking water (and plenty of it) isn't a bad idea at all . . . I just think it's silly to show a possibly altered photo in order to prove a point. But me and F. Rich might be completely wrong in our assumptions, so . . . who knows. Drink more water. |

Heck, I've seen people change looks that way just from being awake for half hour and having a coffee then a cold water face splash. If they want to promote more water drinking, great, but enough with the over exaggerated description of the slight chance in the before and after pics. |

Quoting: 4xcharmd It should be common sense to drink at least half your body weight (in ounces) of water each day. Unfortunately, people sometimes don't find out how important water is until they're sick and try to correct it through diet.. and give up their soda for water. Sometimes the answer is so simple. Its true I heard a doctor say that most people are chronically dehydrated and majority of health problems stem from not drinking enough water. Not to mention all of us should be drinking at least 1 bottle of water with a teaspoon of sea salt per day but who actually does that? Another mineral the average person is deficient in is magnesium. I do - half teaspoon with 3,000mg vit c first thing. |

But if you are going to make sure you drink that much a day, whatever you do dont drink tap water, or bottled water, that has leeched plastic poisons into it. You must drink spring water from glass! Life is a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. |

Quoting: BadMoonRisen 63876715 I prefer my gallon with added hops and barley. The Earth is not 70% water. I think you are actually right... The problem here is communication... as usual... The OP said we are the same as the Earth, 70% water... The Op is wrong because the Earth is not 70% water... 70% of its SURFACE is covered in water but the planet itself is not 70% water. We are however made out of 70% water as a whole ,however, almost 0% of our surfaces are covered in water but I'm sure there are many people out there that increase that % everytime they get smashed and pee themselves. And the article itself is probably right but the "before and after" picture is a joke... anyone would look younger when you change the lightning the way they did on there. |
