Friend who has a sitter who knows 2 dike nurses at duke. He just told me that it is a positive test. He is rookie and doesn't follow news that much. He freaking out about other family in Durham.
 Quoting: Templeknight

So your friend's babysitter heard from two dyke nurses at Duke that it's a positive test?

What could possibly go wrong.
 Quoting: Citadel Moon

I was at Duke up there in Durham 2 years ago and they had Dyke nurses, and tons of Muslims up there as well. You should read what it says about their church services. There is more time for Muslims to go and pray then for regular religions to go and pray. I had a dyke nurse, and she was pretty nice, nicer then many nurses up there.

Well this guy according to the local news took a bus from NJ to NC so now they will have to track down all of those on the bus if he pops positive. And with all this really cold weather it isn't going to end well if folks start coming down sick here in NC.

Re: Possible Ebola at Duke !!!
Does anyone else think it's weird that every single person suspected of ebola is "low risk" and was not in contact with anyone who had ebola. If we are so safe and can only get it from direct contact, why even test someone who hasn't come in contact with someone showing symptoms.

They just can't keep their damn lies strait. Why not just tell the truth so ppl can protect themselves. I saw a video posted earlier interviewing random ppl about what ebola is and where it's from and how u get it. None of them had a clue. This country is full of morons. Some of the answers were ridiculous and shows just how unprepared the average person is for this outbreak.

Also, for everyone counting on being told the truth after elections, I wouldn't hold my breath. It has nothing do with elections and everything to do with panic, stock crashes, riots, ect. We won't be told anything until its so bad there's no way to hide it anymore.

Seriously! Guam has no chance of getting direct flights from West Africa. But, Obola is all over the radio and we have folks from CDC here training. Huge topic. Why?? Obviously, the situation is far worst than being reported.

This is an example of the nonsense:

(Tamuning - GU) - 9 cases of the Ebola Virus have been confirmed in Tamuning

The individual flew into Newark Liberty International Airport on Friday after traveling from Liberia through an unknown destination, then traveled to the Durham area on a commercial bus, according Aldona Wos, MD, secretary of the NC Department of Health and Human Services.

Do you notice how every hospital and health department uses
similar language in their public announcements regarding
Ebola?

This is because HHS / CDC have likely issued boilerplate
talking points and "fill in the blank" media releases so as
to carefully communicate information and manage public concern.

This is a MAJOR aspect of the field of crisis management.

Three firms specializing in these services and frequently hired
by major corporations and governments (including the USGOV)
include:

Ogilvy & Mather, Sitrick and Co., and Edelman.

Thank you, this is exactly what I was trying to say in my previous post but was too riled. The Portland OR piece said the same thing almost verbatim.

Going out on a limb here.
If we do not hear test results within the next
hour, approx 9:15am, - I predict positive.
Test results take 6 hours to come back. More than 12 hours and that means a second test was done. Likely at CDC.
Beyond 12 hours, (more than that now) means trying to figure out how to announce/spin it.

If negative, I say this was a conditioning exercise.

Probably heard that Duke is a really great hospital, and since Obama's Ebolian children don't have insurance and have been so oppressed by the evil Western world for so long, they get to decide where to spend our half million dollars each, and which hospitals to destroy first.

The same wording was used for the Portland case. It seems that this is the new standard language for a possible positive case.

I know a lot about Duke... located in the Research Triangle Park and the Federal Grants they receive, along with the fact that Chimerix which is testing a new ebola drug is located right down the road from Duke. That area of this State is full blown democrat...

Yes and police are outside the home so no one leaves, they all are under quarantine for the next 72 hours or so, and that just makes me think something is fishy about the whole thing of it being negative. They even told reporters if they got any closer they would have to stay there for days, so something is fishy about it all.
