No symptoms at that time. Ebola can not be transmitted when a person is not having symptoms...... [link to www.wral.com] The patient had no symptoms upon arrival and had no known exposure to Ebola while in Liberia, officials said. The patient, whose age and gender were not released, took a bus from New Jersey to Durham County, according to Dr. Megan Davies, state epidemiologist. The person arrived in Person County on Saturday and developed a fever Sunday. "Keep in mind, this person did not have symptoms while traveling on the bus," Davies said. "Also keep in mind, this person has not been diagnosed with any specific condition yet." no worries, it can't be caught on a bus, only transmitted |

The mid term election has not done yet. Quoting: TemperanceLaw Or no one actually is coming down with Ebola; they're just being extremely cautious in checking out and monitoring people and the results don't have anything to do with the election. |

The patient had no symptoms upon arrival in the United States. The patient arrived in Person County on Saturday and developed a fever on Sunday. The person was then transferred to Duke University Hospital. “We expect to know the results of this test from the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services sometime Monday morning,” the hospital said in a statement. So a patient flew into Newark last friday the 21st and was cleared I wonder if that patient moved to duke. |

But I’m reporting tonight’s announcement of a potential Ebola case because it has been reported in my area, and at Duke University Medical Center, an institution where I hold an unpaid adjunct associate professor appointment in their Department of Medicine." Yeah, so we're only allowed to know for absolutely positively certain when it's confirmed. Thanx, AP. From this article: [link to www.forbes.com] |

If we are so safe and can only get it from direct contact, why even test someone who hasn't come in contact with someone showing symptoms. They just can't keep their damn lies strait. Why not just tell the truth so ppl can protect themselves. I saw a video posted earlier interviewing random ppl about what ebola is and where it's from and how u get it. None of them had a clue. This country is full of morons. Some of the answers were ridiculous and shows just how unprepared the average person is for this outbreak. Also, for everyone counting on being told the truth after elections, I wouldn't hold my breath. It has nothing do with elections and everything to do with panic, stock crashes, riots, ect. We won't be told anything until its so bad there's no way to hide it anymore. |

This is because HHS / CDC have likely issued boilerplate talking points and "fill in the blank" media releases so as to carefully communicate information and manage public concern. This is a MAJOR aspect of the field of crisis management. Three firms specializing in these services and frequently hired by major corporations and governments (including the USGOV) include: Ogilvy & Mather, Sitrick and Co., and Edelman. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62667466 Yes. It's all fun and games till someone gets ebola next you. We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be: The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence. Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty. The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE |
