Two angry men. They govern large countries that border Europe. They rail against the west, which is at great pains to find the right way to deal with them. It seems that hardly a week goes by without Recep Tayyip Erdogan or Vladimir Putin lashing out at the United States or Europe. In a recent diatribe in front of Istanbul university students, Erdogan warned against modern-day “Lawrences of Arabia” trying to undermine Turkish power.

Last week, Putin hit out at the US during a meeting of the Valdai Club in Sochi, his annual PR forum. The Russian leader compared his country to a bear who will “not ask permission” to act and “will not let anyone have its taiga [land]”. Putin denounced American “unilateral diktats” and “legal nihilism”, painting over his own unilateralism and illegality over the annexation of Crimea.

Regional crises in Syria and Ukraine have triggered this new bout of estrangement. Erdogan resents having been put under pressure by the US over his refusal to intervene directly in Syria against Islamic State (Isis). Putin has framed the Ukrainian conflict as the consequence of Euro-Atlantic manoeuvres into Russia’s neighbourhood. He casts his policy as the defence of ethnic Russians abroad.

I know Turkish and Muslim women living in the United states, that will not drive a car because, according to there faith it is a mans duty to transport women and if a woman drives it will cause upheavel. I believe in the US it is upheavel for a women not to be a to drive a care. A women who will not drive by choice show she is immature and is a burden to herself and her family. It is stupid for anyone to believe otherwise. She is the type of slow and lazy thinker who will bring down society.

No I am not.
I just have a little in house experience dealing with Turkish men. Do not be deceived by there timid ways. They do not like women over all. Strangely, most Turkish men I know of come off on the famine side. They are very passive aggressive and can't seem to handle constructive input from a female. So I do believe there is a quiet hatred towards women in the Turkish culture.

More alarming still, the U.S. attorney for New York listed Wahaj as one of the "unindicted persons who may be alleged as co-conspirators" in the sheikh's case.

I am distress over this situation. I tell other parents every chance I get to go public for XYZ reasons. I have tried to do my part in contacting government officials. They will not do anything. All I have is thins place and a couple other places I leave comments at. It feels like I am peaching to the chior though. What else can we do?

Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan considers Islamic criticism akin to “a crime against humanity.” He has also publicly railed against Israel as a “fascist regime” and a “terrorist state, “but considers Hamas a “resistance group. “ It has been reported by Islamist-Watch.org that Erdogan’s AKP Party “desires to re-establish the Caliphate and unify the Middle East—and later the world—under Turkish Islamist rule and hegemony.”

Yeah, not a big deal. It is just another innocuous fancy Muslim cultural center. Nothing to be concerned about. Jihad and desires for a Global caliphate are not real. It is only a conspiracy theory.

You should Google Turkish charter school investigations/ scandal. Diane Ratavich has a super blog site about charter school scandals too. It has made a believer out that public school over all is much betterthan any college prep charter school.
Public school though will take effort on the part of parents though. Americans are lazy and always looking for the easiest way. We are taught to believe to vote with your dollars is the best way to demonstrate discontent. In part it is true however most charter school parents enroll their children out of knee jerk decision s not based on factual evidence. Parents don't realize how much power they have in there local public schools. They have no power in charter systems. So to go charter is a vote for fascism and that is not American.
Charter school parents are not exercising choice for a better education. If you send your child to a charter school you should as well someday be sending your child to the Asia Minor and the Middle East to be cannon fodder. Their children will not have the SAT scores to enter collage in the near future. However, they will have the ASVAB scores to enter the military over all. The charter schools are filled with fraudulent standardized test scores. Where else do students test scores and grades go up when they leave public school. Most charters offer an inferior education, with less material and poor, inexperienced teachers. The SAT scores are not supporting the evidence that charter schools are superior. In fact it is about the same or worse then regular public school.
Besides that when you support charter school tax payers do not know where their money is going. There is little transparency. The Turkish charters are the largest set of charter school in this nation. They carry a few flagship charters for advertisement purposes. They encourage their staff to tweak test results. Nothing is put in writing only passed along by word of mouth by administration. They fear the written text and the internet. If you are an employee that puts information in writing that does not apply stricktly to general school operations ... expect to be dismissed. The Turks are very secretive. I hear many other charters are the same. They do not want the government checking into there questionable activities even though they are receiving public funding for the education of American children. So Please support your local public school and participate in it. It is the only way, for it is transparent in its dealings. It has to be. Go Public... Go Public... Go Public!

I will look closely into this.

Wishing for a Mission: Thank you for the links! I wished I saved mine but, if you Google Turkish charter school or Gulen charter schools FBI investigation or scandals you will get a tone of information.

We are in big trouble in the USA. But, the question is how do you awaken the masses when everyone yawns when it come to education and even more so when discussing disabled children needs. People still believe too, that disabled parents receive SSDI for there disabled children's needs.

This is not true. Most parents of disabled children are actually teedering if not living in poverty. In Texas a lot of parents are choosing homeschool for their disabled children as well. Sort of pre 1972. Charter schools are taking a huge chunk out of public education. Every school get about $9,000 to $16,000 dollars per child depending on location. They can a maximum of about $6,000 per disable child depending on PIEMS code. Most Disabled children though receive a net gain though of merely $1,500 per child. This is nothing compared to what it takes to provide true interventions to disabled children. Charters deliberately deliver or lack delivery of quality special education because the cost SpEd truly cost covers only administrative fees. Therefore public schools are offering less and less service to special education programs. You should know a weird corky fact. Schools with good special education intervention programs are usually your higher performing schools regardless of economic status of the student body. So special education programs actually help out schools and charters don't want them because they are not cost effective.

FAPE which was suppose to protect disabled children leaves up a standard of service to the school district. It is now pretty much becoming nothing more then baby sitting instead of education for the moderate to severely disabled students.
