Saying Ebola patients only infect two others is complete horseshit!

Let's think about it.....one person has Ebola and sells weed.

Or works in a service industry like pharmacy or fast food.


Statistic in Africa will not adhere to outbreak in USA. Cultures are FAR too different.

Exhibit A, family living of subsistence farming in Liberia, children may or may not go to school, no running water. Maybe a hundred people in the vicinity

Exhibit B, "nurse" living with several hundred people in aprtment complex, uses public transport, goes to public places like discos and restaurants...do i have to continue.

Example:

N95 mask is good to 3 microns or greater.

Ebola virus is .08 microns.

They should have astronaut suits, not that crap stuff in the video.

What should the person helping them take off the astronaut suits wear?

Ebola is going to be embedded in a much larger substrate.

Simple fact is they have more people to kill in the USA than in some African hovel.

At least the same level as those being deconned, if not better.

Think about the cleaning needed behind someone who
is ebola-symptomatic. I'm referring to the insanity
surrounding the cruise ship "Carnival Magic"
for one example....but it can be an issue with
the apartment cleaners in Dallas, Tx...the crew
that was contracted to clean Dr. Spenser's place
this week in New York City (NO protective gear
at all and not even rubber gloves!!!) This bug can
live on surfaces for 5 days minimum...and at 40 F.
up to 50 days!!!

I've been busy harvesting lots of peppers from my garden and I can tell you 100% that a N-95 mask and a pair of Latex gloves are WORTHLESS when it comes to protection from cayenne pepper dust. (Yes the mask was fitted correctly, NO the gloves were not taped to my shirt)

So If the mask and gloves did not protect me from peppers, I don't have much faith in a mask and gloves protecting me from Ebola either.

Full SCUBA gear is probably the only way to go! lol

All we can do is minimize our exposure and exposure risk.

I still live a normal life but for how long I am on the fence about that.

Many of us have gotten N100 and more but few wear them, however for now I do not leave my home with out a MARF it is a MAsk in the form of a scaRF.

Again only way to avoid it 100% is to live in a bubble. Also if people would cough and sneeze into a MARF instead of their sleeve or worse open air it would reduce the spread of many illnesses.

As for the moment we are more likely (in the USA) to catch the flu, as for me and most of us all we can do is improve our chances not to catch something.

The nice thing about the MARF it is fashionable too cold climate is obvious to help keep us warm and warm climate even in the air-conditioning it is nice to have a scarf.

The MARF also produces negative ions (the good ions) which promote blood circulation so although the MARF can keep you warm it also is comfortable the wear in any climate.

I actually wrap it around my waist if I get to warm and it helps with lower back pain too!
